Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - The victim of a recent brutal assault in Rochester has been discharged from St. Marys Hospital. A message posted on Facebook by the wife of Charles Jackson says he is now home and trying to rest. Jackson, who is well known locally as the man inside the Yammy Bear mascot, was working at a halfway house located on the Olmsted County campus when a man living in the facility allegedly struck him on the head with a metal tire pump.
