PRYOR, OKLAHOMA (KTUL) — Panasonic Holdings Corp, a Tesla supplier, won't be building a battery manufacturing facility in Oklahoma after all, according to local officials. The video above is from previous reporting. Plans for an electric vehicle battery plant at the MidAmerica Industrial Park in Pryor were shelved due to lower market demands, industrial park officials said. Panasonic chose Kansas for a new plant location in 2022, despite Oklahoma offering up to $700 million in rebates.
