It is hard to be patient when you are hurting from a perceived rejection by the addicted loved one. I thought I deserved to suffer, but when I discovered the true purpose of suffering, it was transformational. Waking up in a jail cell with little to no recollection of how you got there really isn’t anyone’s ides of a good time.
