P!nk hosted the festivities, Schmigadoon!, Cats: The Jellicle Ball, and The Lost Boys all won major awards, and the red-carpet fashion was stunning. The stars spoke with Cosmopolitan live from the red carpet about why theater makes them swoon. “Broadway just is romantic,” Krysta Rodriguez said.

A brilliantly irreverent – and not entirely historically accurate – look at the life and times of Mary Todd Lincoln, it’s now playing at the Trafalgar Theatre.

But while the theater was buzzing to songs like “My Shot,” “The Schuyler Sisters,” “History Has Its Eyes on You” and “The Room Where It Happens,” some people were unfortunately NOT in the room where, er, it was happening. They were the ones who’d taken a trip to the bar or a stroll around the lobby, and were then held from entering until the next commercial break — missing perhaps the night’s most anticipated highlight.
