The role of hypoxia-inducible factors in myocardial ischaemia–reperfusion injury and cardioprotection
Abstract In the setting of myocardial ischaemia–reperfusion injury, ischaemia induces severe myocardial hypoxia, whereas the abrupt reintroduction of oxygen during reperfusion further amplifies tissue injury through redox imbalance. This dynamic stabilizes hypoxia-inducible factors (HIFs), which become transcriptionally active and induce hypoxia-responsive gene networks.
Magnetoelectric microrobots for spinal cord injury regeneration

Effect of Mg/Al Oxides Supports on CaO Sorbents Prepared by Wet‐Mixing Synthesis for CO2 Capture
Abstract Calcium looping is one of the effective methods for post-combustion CO2 capture. A key issue is choosing the appropriate supports to synthesize effective calcium-based sorbents. In this study, calcium looping sorbents incorporated with MgO, Ca3Al2O6, and MgAl2O4 supports were prepared by wet-mixing synthesis. Characterizations were made to determine the cyclic CO2 capture capacity, crystalline structure, porosity, and morphological changes of the sorbents over multiple cycles.

Experimental Investigation and Process Simulation of Oxy-fuel Flue Gas Denitrification in CO2 Compression Process
In oxy-combustion power plants, flue gas impurities such as NO must be removed before CO recovery. Currently, sorbents or catalysts as well as a flue gas treatment device are required for the application of the traditional NO control technologies. To produce NO -lean oxy-fuel-derived CO , an attractive option is using the existing CO compression and purification units (CPUs) as NO removal units instead of traditional selective catalytic reduction technology.
In situ low-immunogenic albumin-conjugating- corona guiding nanoparticles for tumor-targeting chemotherapy
Nanoparticles (NPs) are unavoidably covered by a layer of immunogenic protein corona upon injection into blood, such as immunoglobins and complements, which buries the active-targeting ligands and triggers the rapid clearance of NPs by mononuclear phagocytic system. Low antifouling polyethylene glycol is used to inhibit the formation of immunogenic corona but suffers from poor cellular uptake and immunogen-related accelerated blood clearance (ABC) phenomenon in multiple administrations.
