Over the last few decades we have seen Maine become a hotspot for craft brewers and the people who love their beers. When I was a young adult, the beer coolers were filled with Bud and Coors. These days, you can still find domestics, but now there are also dozens of creatively named lagers, IPAs, and stouts. If you love craft beers, one of the best ways to try a bunch all at once is one of our Maine brewfests. We are fortunate to have a brewfest somewhere in Maine just about every summer weekend.

Central Maine Man Arrested For Allegedly Kidnapping a 4-Year-Old

According to an article on the WGME website, a Waterville man is facing serious charges after police say he kidnapped a 4-year-old child early Saturday morning. According to the Fairfield Police Department, officers were called just before 2 a.m. after receiving a report of a missing child. Police responded immediately and began searching for the child. Investigators say the child was later found at a home in Waterville, where officers also located 37-year-old Brandon Phair.
