LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — Las Vegas is seeing economic benefits from the FIFA World Cup despite not hosting a single match, but economists and soccer leaders say the city missed out on what could have been one of its largest tourism events. Jeremy Aguero, principal analyst with Applied Analysis, said Southern Nevada is benefiting from visitors making Las Vegas part of their World Cup travel plans before, after or between matches in nearby host cities. "Are we getting the spillover effects?
