Author Correction: Inhibiting macrophage-derived lactate transport restores cGAS–STING signalling and enhances antitumour immunity in glioblastoma
Correction to: Nature Cell Biology https://doi.org/10.1038/s41556-025-01839-y, published online 6 January 2026. In the version of the article initially published, there were several errors in the source data. In the source data for Fig. 1i, values for shMCT1-1 and shMCT1-2 for the 3028+TAM supernatant group were inadvertently duplicated from those for shMCT4-1 and shMCT4-2 in Fig. 1h. In the source data for Fig.

Malignant remodeling of the bone marrow microenvironment in acute myeloid leukemia: mechanisms and therapeutic implications
Abstract Acute myeloid leukemia (AML) is an aggressive clonal myeloid malignancy characterized by the expansion of differentiation-arrested blasts. Treatment resistance, measurable residual disease, and relapse remain major causes of treatment failure.
IQGAP3 bridges matrix stiffness with glioma stem cell maintenance and radioresistance by stabilizing SOX2
|
Abstract Drivers of therapeutic resistance in cancer include evolving tumor cell heterogeneity and the tumor microenvironment (TME). We find that increased matrix stiffness promotes radioresistance in glioblastoma (GBM) and maintains tumor cell hierarchies. Differential gene expression reveals that stiff matrices induce expression of IQGAP3 (IQ Motif Containing GTPase Activating Protein 3) through YAP1 and TEAD transcription factors in GBM stem cells (GSCs).

Inhibiting macrophage-derived lactate transport restores cGAS–STING signalling and enhances antitumour immunity in glioblastoma - Nature Cell Biology
Abstract Glioblastoma (GBM) is a malignancy with a complex tumour microenvironment (TME) dominated by GBM stem cells (GSCs) and infiltrated by tumour-associated macrophages (TAMs) and exhibits aberrant metabolic pathways. Lactate is a critical glycolytic metabolite that promotes tumour progression; however, the mechanisms of lactate transport and lactylation in the TME of GBM remain elusive. Here we show that lactate is transported from TAMs to GSCs via MCT4–MCT1.
Application of Hydrothermal Carbon/Bentonite Composites in Improving the Thermal Stability, Filtration, and Lubrication of Water-Based Drilling Fluids
Submitted: 09 October 2025 You are already at the latest version With the increasing harsh drilling environments encountered more frequently than ever before, developing environmental benign and multifunctional additives is essential to formulate high performance drilling fluid. Herein, hydrothermal carbon/bentonite composites (HCBCs) were prepared by hydrothermal carbonization reaction using soluble starch and sodium bentonite as raw materials.

Combined targeting of glioblastoma stem cells of different cellular states disrupts malignant progression - Nature Communications
Abstract Glioblastoma (GBM) is the most lethal primary brain tumor with intra-tumoral hierarchy of glioblastoma stem cells (GSCs). The heterogeneity of GSCs within GBM inevitably leads to treatment resistance and tumor recurrence. Molecular mechanisms of different cellular state GSCs remain unclear. Here, we find that classical (CL) and mesenchymal (MES) GSCs are enriched in reactive immune region and high CL-MES signature informs poor prognosis in GBM.

Helicoidal Organization of Chitin in the Cuticle of the Migratory Locust Requires the Function of the Chitin Deacetylase2 Enzyme (LmCDA2)
In the three-dimensional extracellular matrix of the insect cuticle, horizontally aligned microfibrils composed of the polysaccharide chitin and associated proteins are stacked either parallel to each other or helicoidally. The underlying molecular mechanisms that implement differential chitin organization are largely unknown. To learn more about cuticle organization, we sought to study the role of chitin deacetylases (CDA) in this process.
