Barley and oat breeder Brian Rossnagel, livestock geneticist David Bailey, Jersey dairy cattle breeder Gary Bowers, Quebec dairy farmer Guy Charbonneau and Ontario broccoli grower Ken Forth were announced June 18 as the latest hall of fame inductees, ahead of the formal ceremony to be held Nov. 7 at Laval, Que. WHY IT MATTERS: The national hall of fame for Canadian agriculture is meant to inspire a “culture of excellence and progress” in the industry at large.
