Robin Lehner has easily become one of the most likable personalities in the NHL. From his inspiring story of redemption following drug and alcohol abuse, to his refreshingly honest takes, he seems to have a way of winning everone over. He also has one of the best Twitter presences in the league, which he flexed once again after tossing up yet another shutout in the 2020 Stanley Cup Playoffs. Even series. Hell of a game by the boys today! Now some call of duty warzone and recharge for the next one.

If you’re an Islanders fan, we’ve decided that you can take an extra holiday day today, as a treat. The team that’s flown under the radar as one of the best in the league all the way to the Conference Finals suffered a terrible and out of character romping last night at the hands of the big bad Tampa Bay Lightning, who scored just about every type of goal possible in the 8-2 victory. It was a dazzling night if you’re a Lightning fan, and a hope-you-can-forget night if  you’re an Islanders fan.

There’s been lots of upsets and surprises this NHL postseason. In fact, there’s been more upsets and surprises than there’s been regular ole’ hockey these playoffs. Higher seeds were knocked off mercilessly by lower ones, there’s been no shortage of comebacks, and the whole thing is happening in two bubbles in the midst of one of the biggest periods of social unrest ever. So, yeah. A lot going on. One of the more pleasant surprises of the postseason has been the Dallas Stars.
