Metastasis enables immunogenicity through migrasome-mediated antigen release
Abstract Antigen release is a critical step in initiating antitumor immune responses, yet its regulation during metastasis is not well understood. Here we show that circulating tumor cells undergoing vascular migration produce migrasomes that serve as a metastasis-specific mechanism of antigen release.
Author Correction: Straightforward construction of functionalized γ -lactams via conjugated-engineered covalent organic framework photocatalysed cascade reactions
Correction to: Nature Communications https://doi.org/10.1038/s41467-025-66469-2, published online 1 December 2025 The initially published version of this article contained an error in Fig. 3 and in the first paragraph of the “Substrate scope” section, where for 3j, the yield was wrongly reported as 56%. The correct yield is 30%. In the Supplementary Information section 27 the spirocyclic compound should have been numbered 12 and not 10.
Optimization of typhoon-wave parameterization schemes using the SWAN model coupled with a genetic algorithm
Abstract To address the problems of high parameter sensitivity and large simulation deviation of the SWAN (Simulating Waves Nearshore) model under extreme typhoon conditions, this study adopts the Genetic Algorithm (GA) to optimize its key physical parameters. Taking the significant wave height and mean wave period during two typhoon events in the South China Sea as research objects, the numerical simulation results are compared with buoy observation data.
The illusion of clinical reasoning: a benchmark reveals the pervasive gap in vision-language models for clinical competency
Abstract The rapid integration of foundation models into clinical practice and their use for public health inquiries necessitates a rigorous evaluation of their true clinical reasoning capabilities, which extends beyond success on narrow examinations. Current benchmarks, often based on medical licensing exams or curated vignettes, fail to capture the integrated, multimodal reasoning required in real-world patient care.

Reinforcement learning based typhoon-wave model ensemble for multi-physical parameterization schemes
Abstract Introduction: This study proposes a dynamic weight optimization strategy based on the Soft Actor-Critic (SAC) algorithm for multi-source data-driven typhoon wind field fusion. The proposed method can adaptively adjust weights over time and achieve dynamic weight allocation. This not only better captures the complexity of the marine environment but also improves the simulation of typhoon wind speed evolution and enhances the reliability and accuracy of the fused results.

Bone morphology as a significant risk factor for anterior cruciate ligament injury
Abstract Anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injury is a prevalent sports-related trauma with significant impact on both professional athletes and young individuals. While often viewed as accidental events, high recurrence rates suggest the presence of underlying structural risk factors. This study investigated the association between 3D bone morphology and ACL injury susceptibility.
Risk prevention and control evaluation and optimization strategy for digital transformation in oil and gas production management areas
Abstract With the deep integration of digital technology and oil and gas production, digital transformation has become an important pathway to enhance efficiency and safety. This paper takes Oil and Gas Production Management Area A as the research object. Following the national standard GB/T 46,712 − 2025, we apply its five-dimensional evaluation framework with dimension weights from Table A.6 and tertiary indicator weights from Appendix of the standard.
Interannual variations in terrestrial carbon uptake are dominated by temperature and the vapor pressure deficit rather than water availability
Abstract Interannual variations in terrestrial carbon uptake (IVTCU) strongly regulate anthropogenic CO2 growth rate dynamics, yet their controlling mechanisms remain uncertain. Previous studies disagree on whether precipitation (P) or temperature (T) predominates and whether soil moisture (SM) or vapor pressure deficit (VPD) is the primary driver.
Cytosolic CTH senses bacterial lipoproteins and drives noncanonical inflammasome activation
Abstract Pathogen-associated molecules can have both membrane-associated and intracellular receptors. Bacterial lipoproteins are recognized by Toll-like receptor 2, but it is unclear whether they can also be sensed by cytoplasmic receptors. Here we found that bacterial lipoproteins could be recognized in the cytoplasm of macrophages by cystathionine γ-lyase (CTH) and hydrolyzed into lipid chains containing sulfhydryl groups.

Synergistic effects of hydrogen bonding and hydrophobic interactions in the self-assembly of sodium lauroyl glutamate - Polymer Journal
Abstract This study focuses on microenvironmental changes under different forces and involves the construction of a series of sodium lauroyl glutamate (LGS) supramolecular hydrogel systems, including LGS hydrogel, LGS-E gel, and LGS/APG hydrogel. This research indicates that the formation of LGS supramolecular hydrogels relies on the synergy between hydrogen bonding and hydrophobic interactions. It has a specific formation range and exhibits dual responsiveness to temperature and pH.
3D‐Printed Architected Anisotropic Channels for Ultrafast Solar‐Driven Interfacial Evaporation via Localized Thermal Management and Water Layer Structuring
1 Introduction The pursuit of light as a means of harnessing and converting energy has never ceased, driving fundamental advances in solar-thermal technologies [1-3]. Solar-driven interfacial evaporation, as a key implementation of solar-thermal technologies, enables water vapor generation below the boiling point and steam production at or above it [4-7].
Near-100% site utilization of single atoms for efficient electrocatalysis - Nature Communications
Abstract Despite that enhancing site utilization (Usite) of single atoms (SAs) is crucial in electrocatalysis beyond increasing intrinsic activity and site density, numerous SAs are inaccessible during reaction due to the dense micropores and disordered stacking of carbon particles. Here, the enhancement for Usite of SAs is achieved through a surfactant-assis'ted freeze-casting (SAFC) strategy.
Straightforward construction of functionalized γ-lactams via conjugated-engineered covalent organic framework photocatalysed cascade reactions - Nature Communications
Abstract Straightforward synthetic approach for direct constructing functionalized γ-lactams is highly valuable given their ubiquity in bioactive molecules yet challenging due to instability of the products and difficulties in controlling diastereoselectivity.
Unification of coordinate systems for two 3D-DIC subsystems with adjacent and non-overlapping fields of view
This study presents a method to address calibration challenges in multi-camera 3D digital image correlation (DIC) systems with adjacent and non-overlapping fields of view. By extending the image plane and supplementing uncaptured checkerboard corner points, shared calibration feature points are created without requiring overlapping areas.
Progress in the clinical application of allogeneic platelet-rich plasma for diabetic foot treatment
Introduction Chronic wounds, including diabetic foot ulcers, have emerged as a global health concern due to the aging population and the rising prevalence of obesity, diabetes, and cardiovascular diseases (1).The complexity inherent in managing chronic wounds has made promoting soft tissue repair and wound healing a prominent research focus.
Single-atom Zr promoter boosts oxygen activation on ceria-supported Pt catalysts - Nature Communications
Abstract Activation of surface lattice oxygen and chemisorbed oxygen on catalyst surfaces constitutes a pivotal step in heterogeneous oxidative catalysis. Herein, we report a strategy for enhancing oxygen activation by rational design of catalysts with single-atom promoters. Single-site Zr species in CeO2 (Zr1-CeO2) are synthesized using the atom-trapping method.

IJGI | Free Full-Text | A Spatiotemporal Hierarchical Analysis Method for Urban Traffic Congestion Optimization Based on Calculation of Road Carrying Capacity in Spatial Grids
1. Introduction Since the end of the 20th century, with the rapid development of urbanization, traffic congestion has become increasingly severe in large cities of China. Traffic congestion not only causes delays, economic losses, and environment problems but also considerably affects the urban transportation system. Traffic congestion occurs when travel demand exceeds road capacity; while improving road traffic infrastructure is a solution; road capacity cannot be infinitely increased.
