Loss of NCOA6 protein causes aggressive prostate cancer with EGFR overexpression and dependency
Abstract Loss of tumor suppressors can drive carcinogenesis while simultaneously creating actionable therapeutic vulnerabilities. Epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) is frequently overexpressed in prostate cancer (PCa), yet EGFR inhibitors have shown limited clinical benefit, and the basis for this variability remains unclear. Here, analysis of 1,719 human PCa specimens reveals frequent downregulation of the nuclear receptor coactivator 6 (NCOA6), particularly in metastatic disease.
Whole-esophageal radiomics and deep learning for predicting the pT and pN categories of resectable esophageal cancer
Abstract To investigate the application of whole-esophageal radiomics and deep learning features derived from enhanced arterial phase CT images along with clinical data to differentiate the pT and pN categories in patients with resectable esophageal cancer. Clinical and CT data of 625 patients from Center 1 and 56 patients from Center 2 with esophageal cancer were analyzed. The dataset of Center 1 was randomly divided into a training cohort and an internal testing cohort at an 8:2 ratio.
Targeting the Ip6k2–Runx2 axis disrupts osteoblast–osteoclast coupling to treat osteoporosis
Abstract Excessive osteoclast activation disrupts bone homeostasis, contributing to osteoporosis (OP). While Runx2 is known to regulate osteoblast differentiation, its role in osteoclasts is less clear. Using conditional knockout models, we demonstrate that Runx2 directly drives osteoclast differentiation by regulating Ctsk transcription. However, its dual function in both osteoblasts and osteoclasts limits therapeutic potential.
YTHDC1 drives senescence evasion in ovarian cancer through m6A-mediated TERT stabilization
Abstract N6-methyladenosine (m6A) represents the most abundant internal RNA modification, and a key regulator of gene expression, yet its role in determining cell fate decisions such as senescence remains largely unexplored. Here, we identify the nuclear m6A reader YTHDC1 as a critical regulator of telomere homeostasis and senescence evasion in ovarian cancer. YTHDC1 expression was markedly elevated in advanced-stage tumors and correlated with poor patient survival.
Global, regional, and national ectopic pregnancy burden: A trend analysis of global disease burden from 1990 to 2021
ABSTRACT Ectopic pregnancy is a serious gynecological emergency that imposes a significant global burden. This research aims to provide an effective reference for future strategic planning in various countries. Ectopic pregnancy data from 1990 to 2021 were analyzed, the autoregressive integrated moving average (ARIMA) and exponential smoothing (ES) models were used to predict future disease burden.
Identifying key influencing factors and their hierarchical structure for green supply chain management in China’s aerospace manufacturing using DEMATEL-ISM
Abstract Green supply chain management in the aerospace manufacturing industry is a complex systematic project, and it is decisive for implementing green supply chain management to clarify the hierarchical relationship and critical factors among influencing factors.
Integration of digital physicalomics and dual-fluid metabolomics flux ratios reveals tubular secretory dysfunction in early diabetic kidney disease
Abstract Background: Current screening for diabetic kidney disease (DKD) relies on the estimated glomerular filtration rate (eGFR) and albuminuria, which often fail to detect early tubular dysfunction and non-albuminuric phenotypes. The integration of macroscopic urine physical characteristics with metabolic signatures may offer a novel approach to precision stratification. Methods: We conducted a multicenter, prospective-retrospective cohort study involving 364 participants with type 2 diabetes.
Theoretical Investigations of Ni/(R,R)‐Me‐DuPhos‐Catalyzed Enantioselective Hydroalkoxylation of 1,3‐Dienes With Methanol
1 Introduction The carbon–oxygen bond has been found in natural products, agrochemicals, and pharmaceuticals [1-5], so the construction of C–O bonds has been researched during the past 20 years. Transition metal-catalyzed hydroalkoxylation of unsaturated bonds with alcohols represents one of the most efficient, convenient, atom- and step-economical approaches to create the C–O bonds, as reviewed recently [6-9].
Impact of solriamfetol treatment on sleep quality in Chinese patients with OSA-EDS: results of a randomized controlled trial
Abstract Introduction: Wake-promoting agents (WPAs), such as solriamfetol, have emerged as effective treatment options for treating excessive daytime sleepiness (EDS) in patients with obstructive sleep apnea (OSA). However, the impact of solriamfetol on nocturnal sleep quality remains underexplored.

Distinct gut and oral microbial profiles differentiate patients with symmetric/asymmetric Parkinson’s disease
Abstract Background: Parkinson’s disease (PD) presents heterogeneous motor patterns. Symmetric and asymmetric phenotypes potentially reflect distinct pathogenic origins as proposed by the Synuclein Origin and Connectome (SOC) model. However, differences in gut and oral microbiota between these PD subtypes remain unclear. Objective: To compare gut and oral microbiota characteristics in symmetric and asymmetric PD patients and explore correlations with clinical features.
A Biomimetic Procedure for the Synthesis of 1,2-cis C-Vinyl Furanosides from Unprotected Aldoses
Abstract Click to copy section linkSection link copied! C-glycosides are valuable analogs of O- and N-glycosides with broad pharmaceutical relevance. While most synthetic approaches to C-glycosides rely on protected glycosyl donors, there is growing interest in methods that utilize unprotected native sugars, particularly for synthesizing C-furanosides, which are thermodynamically less favored than their pyranosyl counterparts.
Nodule density on CT-scan correlates with CYP11B1 expression in a patient with ARMC5 mutated primary bilateral macronodular adrenal hyperplasia - Diagnostic Pathology
We analyzed the genetics of the patient and his sister, brother, and daughter. Blood samples from these four participants and adrenal tissue samples from the patient were taken and analyzed by standard laboratory methods at the Institute of Laboratory Medicine, Tongji Hospital, Tongji Medical College, Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Wuhan, China. Informed consents were obtained from all the participants.

p16INK4a Deletion Alleviated Obesity‐Associated Kidney Fibrosis by Regulating Metabolic Reprogramming and the Inflammasome Pathway
1 Introduction The increasing prevalence of obesity contributes significantly to a range of diseases, including cardiovascular and metabolic disorders, which result in millions of fatalities annually [1, 2]. Recent research has revealed a close association between obesity and various metabolic disorders, including renal metabolic diseases [3]. Paredes et al. [4] reported that a high-fat diet (HFD) can induce both obesity and kidney dysfunction in a rat model.
A Novel DNA Repair‐Gene Model to Predict Responses to Immunotherapy and Prognosis in Patients With EGFR‐Mutant Non‐Small Cell Lung Cancer
1 Introduction Lung cancer, a common malignancy worldwide, is a primary contributor to cancer-related mortality [1]. Non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) is the predominant type, comprising 70%–80% of lung cancer [2]. Despite the availability of a range of therapies [3-5], the prognosis of patients with NSCLC remains poor.

Sodium-glucose cotransporter 2 inhibition through henagliflozin ameliorates cognitive impairment in patients with type 2 diabetes
INTRODUCTION Diabetic cognitive impairment generally refers to cognitive impairment in patients with diabetes1. The main risks of diabetes are acute and chronic complications. Diabetes poses risks of both acute and chronic complications, with cognitive dysfunction particularly noted in type 2 diabetes patients. Type 2 diabetes is characterized by insulin resistance and progressive dysfunction of pancreatic β-cells, affecting learning, memory, mental flexibility and mental speed2.
