Efficacy and safety analysis of induction therapy for unresectable locally advanced non-small-cell lung cancer: a retrospective study based on IPTW
Abstract Background: Concurrent chemoradiotherapy (cCRT) followed by consolidation immunotherapy constitutes the current standard of care for unresectable locally advanced non–small cell lung cancer (LA-NSCLC). Despite this approach, a substantial proportion of patients experience disease progression, underscoring the need for novel therapeutic strategies. This study was undertaken to evaluate whether induction chemoimmunotherapy administered prior to definitive CRT can improve clinical outcomes.

Qingyuan Partridge roosters were obtained from the Original Breeding Farm of Guangdong Tiannong Food Co., Ltd. (Guangdong, China). The management procedures were conducted according to the standard requirements for the chicken breeding farm. The lighting conditions have equal periods of bright and dark. The roosters (42 days old) were divided into high-comb (H group; 22–29 mm, n = 260) and low-comb (L group; 10–17 mm, n = 210) groups, according to the comb height.

It is vital to develop novel therapeutic reagents that have both anticancer and renoprotective properties.

Wuhan MST Radar Observations of a Tropopause Descent Event during Heavy Rain on 1–2 June 2015
Abstract : During heavy rain on 1–2 June 2015 in central China, the Wuhan mesosphere–stratosphere–troposphere (MST) radar was applied to record the atmospheric responses to the rain with a 30 min period. According to the vertical gradient of the echo power above 500 hPa, the tropopause height could be determined by MST radar detection. The tropopause descent was clearly observed by the Wuhan MST radar a few hours before the rain, and then the tropopause recovered to usual heights during the rain.
High-performance circularly polarized electroluminescence from d-f transition europium(II) complexes
Considering the high PLQYs and good CP luminescence properties, these enantiomers were employed as chiral emitters to fabricate CP-OLEDs. After screening, the films with m-MTDATA as the host material and a weight doping concentration of 10% showed the highest PLQYs, which are 72%, 72%, 47%, and 42% for (R)-MeN8-EuI2, (S)-MeN8-EuI2, (R)-i-PrN8-EuI2, and (S)-i-PrN8-EuI2, respectively.

Breaking translational symmetry via polymer chain overcrowding in molecular bottlebrush crystallization
Abstract One of the fundamental laws in crystallization is translational symmetry, which accounts for the profound shapes observed in natural mineral crystals and snowflakes. Herein, we report on the spontaneous formation of spherical hollow crystals with broken translational symmetry in crystalline molecular bottlebrush (mBB) polymers. The unique structure is named as mBB crystalsome (mBBC), highlighting its similarity to the classical molecular vesicles.
