4 indicted in case alleging guns bought in Amarillo for Sinaloa Cartel

AMARILLO, Texas (KVII) — Four people were indicted in a federal case that accuses one man of conspiring to provide guns to the Sinaloa Cartel and taking part in a drug trafficking conspiracy involving fentanyl, cocaine and heroin. A federal grand jury indicted Loyd Walter Hall, Jesus Quezada Meza, Omar Velasquez and Catlynn Ann Townsend on June 25. Hall is charged with conspiring to provide material support to a foreign terrorist organization.

State police identify 2 men who drowned at Ute Lake over Fourth of July weekend

Officers were called to the lake around 5:30 p.m. Saturday after Echavarria did not resurface. His body was recovered yesterday. The man who fell off a boat around 10:30 p.m. Sunday was identified as 58-year-old Bart Bronniman.
