Jason Nappi’s Biography

Jason Nappi is an American Meteorological Society Certified Broadcast Meteorologist (CBM #627), digital weather communicator and founder of Jason Nappi Weather, an independent forecasting platform serving Maine and New England.

With more than 24 years of experience across television, streaming, social media, web and mobile, Jason has guided audiences through hurricanes, tornado outbreaks, floods, snowstorms and rapidly changing forecasts. His work focuses on making complicated weather and risk information clear, practical and useful.

Jason founded Jason Nappi Weather in December 2024 and launched its free weather app in June 2026. The platform brings together radar, alerts, forecast videos, storm information and Maine-focused weather resources.

Jason holds a Bachelor of Science in Meteorology from SUNY Oneonta. He is available for interviews, expert weather commentary, podcasts, panels, speaking engagements and media collaborations.
