Structural balance and evolution of cooperation in a population with hybrid interactions
This study explores the evolution of cooperation in populations with mixed pairwise and three-body interactions, investigating the impact of higher-order interaction density and individual interaction preference . Our results reveal that sparse higher-order interactions markedly boost cooperation, exhibiting two critical phase transitions as changes. These transitions underscore the delicate equilibrium needed for optimal cooperation, as excessive higher-order interactions can diminish returns.

A self-assembled 2-hydroxyphosphonoacetic acid protective layer enables dendrite-free Zn anodes
A self-assembled 2-hydroxyphosphonoacetic acid protective layer enables dendrite-free Zn anodes† A stable self-assembled 2-hydroxyphosphonoacetic acid (HPAA) layer was constructed on the Zn surface via chelation. This HPAA protective layer significantly inhibits the water-related side reactions and suppresses Zn dendrite growth. Consequently, the Zn-HPAA-1h anode shows a long cycling lifetime of 650 h in a symmetric cell at 30.0 mA cm−2.
Global regularity of 2D generalized incompressible magnetohydrodynamic equations - Nonlinear Differential Equations and Applications NoDEA
Abstract In this paper, we are concerned with the two-dimensional (2D) incompressible magnetohydrodynamic (MHD) equations with velocity dissipation given by \((-\Delta )^{\alpha }\) and magnetic diffusion given by reducing about the square root of logarithmic diffusion from standard Laplacian diffusion. More precisely, we establish the global regularity of solutions to the system as long as the power \(\alpha \) is a positive constant.

Sodium chloride induced nitrogen salt with cyclo-${\mathrm{N}}_{5}$ anions at high pressure
The energy landscape of sodium chloride-nitrogen mixtures has been comprehensively explored to examine the ability of the formation of unknown compounds under pressures of up to 100 GPa, using swarm-intelligence structure prediction methodology and first-principles calculations. We identified a thermodynamically stable compound containing two cyclo- species under pressures exceeding 53 GPa, representing milder conditions in comparison to those requisite for pure solid nitrogen.

Hybridization of magnetic MOF composites with 3D terminal carboxyl hyperbranched polymers for dye wastewater treatment To enhance the physical and chemical properties and stability of magnetic MOFs, and to improve their adsorption and reuse performance, an innovative modification strategy involving hybridization with three-dimensional (3D) terminal carboxyl hyperbranched polymers was employed.
Investigation on binding between cations and amides using UV Raman spectroscopy
The interaction of proteins with salt ions plays an important role in life activities. We used butyramide as a model molecule to investigate the interaction of protein backbones with cations. The experiment was performed in an aqueous solution of metal chloride using UV Raman spectroscopy. It was found that well-hydrated metal cations (Ca2+, Mg2+) tend to bind to C=O in the amide bond, resulting in redistribution of the amide I band peaks.
Stability of ${\mathrm{XeK}}_{4}$ compound under extreme conditions
Noble gas elements exhibit chemical reactivity under high pressure, forming novel compounds through reactions with other substances, which has become a recent focus in condensed matter physics research. By combining first-principles calculations with crystal structure prediction methods, we propose six unconventional Xe-K compounds under high pressure, namely Xe4K, Xe3K, Xe3K2, Xe2K, XeK, and XeK4.

Engineering Cu2O/Cu/N-C interface to induce directional migration of charge for driving photocatalytic homo-coupling of terminal alkynes - Nano Research
Abstract The efficient utilization of visible light catalysts for organic reactions necessitates not only the effective separation of photogenerated electrons and holes to participate in the reaction, but also their ability to form key intermediates with reactant molecules. The present study successfully synthesized a crusiform-like mesoporous structure of nitrogen-doped carbon-coated Cu2O/Cu (Cu2O/Cu/N-C) with a Cu2O/dual electron acceptor interface using etched HKUST-1 as the precursor.
Trees with Real Rooted Independence Polynomials - Frontiers of Mathematics
Abstract Let I(G; x) denote the independence polynomial of a graph G. Alavi, Malde, Schwenk and Erdős conjectured for any tree T that I(T; x) is unimodal. In this paper, we derive that rooted products of some trees preserve real-rootedness of independence polynomials. In consequence, we obtain more and more trees whose independence polynomials have only real zeros. This in particular implies that their independence polynomials are unimodal. Suppression of Malicious Code Propagation in Software-Defined Networking - Wireless Personal Communications
Abstract The flexibility and programmability of SDN enable dynamic and automated network configuration and traffic routing. However, this also provides more avenues for malicious code propagation, leading to serious risks such as service disruptions and privacy breaches. To address this problem, we first designed three modules to suppress malicious code propagation: the abnormal traffic detection module, the malicious code analysis module, and the abnormal traffic tracing module.
