California dreaming: The alternate universe of Jake Pickering
By DAVE EVANS Special to the Daily Planet There can be no doubt that Jake Pickering’s recent letters to the editor of this esteemed newspaper are the rantings of one infected with Trump Derangement Syndrome (TDS) — the one disease for which there is no vaccine other than a good dose of rationality, common sense and the increasingly rare ability to think for oneself. In his alternate universe, there is no objective truth other than that which is asserted by the captains of officialdom.
