MURRAY — Last year, Ben Shtolzberg never had the chance to really endear himself to the Murray State men’s basketball fanbase. He was not on the court in the navy and gold. Injuries saw to that. However, the transfer from California-Santa Barbara, by way of Creighton, never lost his competitiveness. He bravely did what any player red-shirting a season does, wear a warm-up suit, take a place on the bench and cheer for his teammates. Yes, it was tough, but that is now behind him.
