BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WAFF) - Decatur’s Ryley Heath and Huntsville’s Gabi Nicastro won the Alabama State Amateur Championships. Hartselle alum and Jacksonville State golfer, Ryley Heath won the 110th Alabama State Amateur Championship in early June. Heath birdied on the final hole to win the tournament at seven-under. He won the tournament by one stroke. Heath is the second straight golfer from the Burning Tree Country Club to win the state tournament. “This area has a lot of good golfers,” Heath said.

Scott has played for multiple NFL teams since he was signed by the Los Angeles Chargers in 2018. He has been with the Commanders for three years. “We’re blessed with what we have and my journey,” Scott said.
