Arkansas group counters critics as data center debates continue in Pulaski County

After a failed attempt to bring a 12-month data center moratorium to Pulaski County's quorum court on Tuesday, the ordinance had its first step through the county with a public hearing in front of the county's planning commission. Arkansas State Representative Aaron Pilkington represents District 45, which includes portions of Johnson and Pope counties. He's worked closely on A-I legislation in recent sessions and even helped launch the "Arkansas Connected Communities Association known as ARCC.

If you’ve ever sat in traffic trying to get on or off Interstate 57 at Highway 5, you’re not alone. With Cabot growing fast, ARDOT says this interchange can’t keep up. Now, the agency is beginning a 53.9-million-dollar project - redesigning one of the busiest interchanges in Central Arkansas.
