I was taking some backroads home last weekend on my motorcycle, north of Duluth. I decided to drive through Highway 2 and through Proctor on my way home to Superior. When I got to the roundabout near the Grand Lake Station, I saw that Highway 2 was closed. Oh great, here's a detour. It took me all the way to Midway Road, and then I had the choice to continue on to 53 or take Midway Road to Highway 2 and then through Proctor.
