Sensorless Force Estimation Based on Teleoperation Robot State Information
1 Introduction Teleoperation robots, as robot systems remotely controlled by human operators, enable operators to complete tasks without entering the working environment. Therefore, they are widely used in special or extreme environments such as medical care (Nakauchi et al. 2022), nuclear industry (Wang and Yuan 2004), aerospace (Seedhouse and Llanos 2021), etc. A teleoperation robot consists of a leader operator, a communication network, and a follower operator (Oscari et al. 2016).
Effects of lower limb exoskeleton-assisted rehabilitation training on ischemic stroke patients with ICU-acquired weakness
Abstract To evaluate the effectiveness of lower limb exoskeleton robots in improving musculoskeletal function in ischemic stroke patients with ICU-acquired weakness (ICU-AW), compare its therapeutic efficacy with conventional rehabilitation, and explore the underlying physiological and biomechanical mechanisms. A total of 72 eligible patients were randomly divided into the experimental group (exoskeleton robot-assisted rehabilitation) and control group (conventional rehabilitation).
A target-activated AS1411 aptamer probe for in vivo and ex vivo imaging of nucleolin-overexpressing triple-negative breast cancer
Abstract Background: Fluorescence imaging of breast cancer is often limited by high background signals from conventional “always-on” probes. The nucleolin-targeting AS1411 aptamer provides a promising recognition element for tumors with elevated nucleolin expression, including triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC). This study aimed to develop a target-activated molecular probe to enable high-contrast detection of nucleolin-overexpressing breast tumors.
Tryptamine from wake-active monoaminergic neurons regulates sleep homeostasis
Abstract Wakefulness produces sleep-promoting substances and the cerebrospinal fluid contains substances that reflect homeostatic sleep pressure. However, identities of such molecules, and the neural mechanisms for producing and sensing them, remain mysterious. Here we show that cerebrospinal fluid levels of tryptamine (TrpA) track homeostatic sleep pressure in nocturnal mice and diurnal pigs, reflecting physical activity history independently of light–dark cycles.
Construction of Fire-Resistant Solid Polymer Electrolytes for Lithium Safety Batteries Based on Aluminum Phosphate-Coated Sepiolite Core–Shell Nanostructure
ABSTRACT Composite polymer electrolyte (CPEs) that combine safety, excellent electrochemical performance, and thermal stability have garnered considerable attention as viable solutions to achieve lithium-ion batteries (LIBs). In this study, we investigated a method to modify polyethylene oxide (PEO)-based polymer electrolytes via the introduction of modified aluminum phosphate coated sepiolite (mSEP@AlPO4).
Inconsistencies in annual variations of flux and reactivity of sinking particles in the Pacific Arctic: evidence from a sediment trap
Abstract Introduction: Rapid Arctic sea-ice loss is reshaping deep particle export by lengthening the open-water season, altering ice-associated export, and enhancing lateral shelf-to-basin transport. However, it remains unclear whether annual variations in the flux and biochemical lability of sinking particles are synchronized.
Adaptive Obstacle Avoidance for Robotic Arms Using Hierarchical Reinforcement Learning and Path Optimization
1 Introduction Robotic arms are increasingly widely deployed in industries, agriculture, medical services, aerospace, and other fields [1-3]. As an important module of autonomous navigation, motion planning aims to successfully reach the target without colliding with obstacles.

HDAC5 stabilization by tubeimoside I suppresses cervical cancer metastasis via inhibiting H3K27ac/KPNA2 axis - British Journal of Cancer
Abstract Cervical cancer poses a significant threat to women’s health, and its metastasis is one of the leading causes of cancer-related deaths. Tubeimoside I (TBMS1) is a traditional Chinese medicinal herb with anticancer properties. We previously demonstrated the anticancer effect of TBMS1 in cervical cancer by inducing autophagy-related cell death. Nevertheless, whether and how TBMS1 prevents cervical cancer metastasis remain unclear.

Two-Dimensional Porphyrin-Based Covalent Organic Frameworks for Visible-Light-Driven Oxidative Coupling of Benzylamines
Two-Dimensional Porphyrin-Based Covalent Organic Frameworks for Visible-Light-Driven Oxidative Coupling of Benzylamines Two porphyrin-based covalent organic frameworks (COFs), Por-bpy-COF and Por-Pd/bpy-COF, were developed as visible-light-responsive photocatalysts for organic transformations. These COFs feature porphyrin units with broad visible light absorption (λ > 400 nm), with Por-Pd/bpy-COF incorporating a palladium center to enhance charge separation.

A new approach for seepage quantity prediction of earth and rock dams based on SSA-LSSVM
ABSTRACT The enhancement of stability and safety in earth and rock dams is imperative for effective monitoring and prediction of seepage. Existing seepage prediction models frequently encounter challenges, including slow convergence and model parameters that are susceptible to local optimal solutions in practical applications.
Study on the evaluation method for compaction quality of rockfill dams based on seismic wave dispersion characteristics and deep learning
The compaction quality of rockfill dams is a pivotal factor in determining the stability and safety of such structures. However, the conventional on-site test pit flooding method is both costly and limited in its ability to accurately reflect the compaction quality of the entire rolling surface. Consequently, this paper proposes a novel approach to the non-destructive evaluation of compaction quality in rockfill dams.

Network models for temporal data reconstruction for dam health monitoring
1 INTRODUCTION The reconstruction of monitoring data reconstruction involves generating values that are close to the true or expected values, and then using the generated values to replace the anomalous data or fill in the missing data. In dam monitoring systems, datasets might contain anomalous data due to manual measurement errors or sensor anomalies. Such anomalous data need to be detected and reconstructed based on algorithms to form a normal monitoring dataset.

Influential Mechanisms of Roughness on the Cyclic Shearing Behavior of the Interfaces Between Crushed Mudstone and Steel-Cased Rock-Socketed Piles
4. Discussion 4.1. Roughness and Interface Strength Under CNS conditions, the influence of roughness on interface strength manifests both as an enhancement and a diminution. In the initial stage, compared to a flat interface, the shear stress of a rough interface is much greater, but with the increase in the number of cycles, the shear stress of the rough interface is far less than that of the flat interface.

Chemosensory modulation of eye-body coordination in larval zebrafish
Abstract Coordinated eye-body movements are essential for many animal behaviors, yet the influence of chemosensory inputs on these movements remains underexplored. Here, we enhance the Fish-On-Chips optofluidic platform to reveal that larval zebrafish use coupled saccade-tail flips for chemosensory avoidance, but not pursuit.
