Neural regulation of tumor immunity: emerging opportunities to enhance cancer immunotherapy
Abstract The nervous system is a key regulator of cancer immunity, influencing tumor development and treatment response through neuroimmune interactions. Both peripheral and central circuits transmit neural signals that directly influence immune cell recruitment, activation, and effector function within the tumor microenvironment.
Sulfonyl-PYBOX/ErCl 3 complex enable highly enantioselective synthesis of α,α-dialkyl and α-alkyl-α-aryl hydrazinonitriles
Abstract We report the highly enantioselective nucleophilic addition reaction of simple ketone-derived hydrazones. Accordingly, a ErCl₃-catalyzed cyanation of both aliphatic and aryl ketone hydrazones is achieved for the facile access of Cα-tetrasubstituted α-hydrazino nitriles in up to 96% ee, by using the sterically confined pyridinebisoxazoline (PYBOX) ligand featuring a sulfonyl group at the pyridine C4 position.

Methanotroph-driven phosphorus recovery for sustainable wastewater management
Abstract Biological wastewater treatment systems with low carbon footprints and capability of resource recovery are pivotal to sustainable wastewater management. Identifying microbial agents for sustainable phosphorus recovery is indispensable yet challenging because of the knowledge gap in phylogenic diversity and the insufficiency of current identification methods.

Global exploration of drought-tolerant bacteria in the wheat rhizosphere reveals microbiota shifts and functional taxa enhancing plant resilience - Nature Food
Abstract Drought stress impacts plant–microbe interactions, reshaping microbial community composition and biogeochemical cycling, thereby reducing crop productivity and threatening food security. However, the specific microbial responses and roles of plant-derived metabolites remain underexplored.
Aging-associated ZNF573 methylation regulates RNF19B-PIK3CA ubiquitination to promote prostate cancer - Oncogene
Abstract Aging significantly influences the pathogenesis of prostate cancer (PCa). Emerging evidence suggests that aging-related methylation changes play a critical role in PCa. However, the impact of aging-related DNA methylation in PCa remains largely unexplored. To identify hypermethylated sites associated with aging in PCa, we performed an epigenome-wide analysis using Illumina Human Methylation BeadChip arrays.
METTL1-driven epitranscriptomic enhancement of TXNDC12 boosts c-Myc stability through USP5 in HNSCC - Experimental & Molecular Medicine
Abstract Head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSCC) is a prevalent malignancy worldwide. Advancing understanding of the molecular mechanisms driving tumor progression and resistance to therapy is essential for developing new strategies to improve patient outcomes in HNSCC. Here we demonstrate that elevated expression of thioredoxin domain-containing protein 12 (TXNDC12) in HNSCC is associated with adverse clinical outcomes and reduced survival.

Enhancing clinical detection of polyunsaturated fatty acids (PUFAs) in pregnancy: a robust LC-MS/MS methodology
ABSTRACT Aims Omega-3 (n-3) and omega-6 (n-6) polyunsaturated fatty acids (PUFAs) are indispensable for human health. Notably, imbalanced levels of maternal PUFAs during pregnancy can exert lasting impacts on the developing fetus. There is an urgent need for a robust and rapid method that can simultaneously quantify multiple n-3 and n-6 PUFAs in plasma and adapt to large-scale clinical screening.

Nitrogen fixation and diazotroph diversity in groundwater systems - The ISME Journal
Abstract Biological nitrogen fixation (BNF), the conversion of N2 into bioavailable nitrogen (N), is the main process for replenishing N loss in the biosphere. However, BNF in groundwater systems remains poorly understood. In this study, we examined the activity, abundance, and community composition of diazotrophs in groundwater in the Hetao Plain of Inner Mongolia using 15N tracing methods, reverse transcription qPCR (RT-qPCR), and metagenomic/metatranscriptomic analyses.
Materials | Free Full-Text | Understanding Machining Process Parameters and Optimization of High-Speed Turning of NiTi SMA Using Response Surface Method (RSM) and Genetic Algorithm (GA)
3.3. Effect of Machining Parameters on Remnant Depth Ratio Figure 6 shows the response surface plot of the machining parameters to the remnant depth ratio. Figure 6a presents the remnant depth ratio with respect to cutting speed and feed. When the cutting speed is constant, the remnant depth ratio increases rapidly to the highest point with the increased feed and then decreases slowly. And the influence is greater when the cutting speed is high.

Amino acid modified OCMC-g-Suc-β-CD nanohydrogels carrying lapatinib and ginsenoside Rg1 exhibit high anticancer activity in a zebrafish model
Introduction Nanohydrogels exhibit great potential for developing drug delivery systems due to their promising biocompatibility, low toxicity, and good water absorbability (Bourbon et al., 2016; Swain and Prusty, 2018). Nanohydrogels contain a three-dimensional network structure with a large number of hydrophilic groups, such as −OH, NH2, and −CO2H (Kabanov and Vinogradov, 2009; Lian et al., 2010). The presence of hydrophilic groups endows nanohydrogels with excellent swelling behavior in water.
Joint Optimization of Trajectory and Discrete Reflection Coefficients for UAV-Aided Backscatter Communication System with NOMA
Abstract : Backscatter communication is a promising technology for the Internet of Things (IoT) systems with low-energy consumption, in which the data transmission of the backscatter devices relies on reflecting the incident signal. However, limited by the low power characteristic of the reflected signal from backscatter devices, achieving efficient data collection for the widely distributed backscatter devices is a thorny problem.

Flavonoid epimers from custard apple leaves, a rapid screening and separation by HSCCC and their antioxidant and hypoglycaemic activities evaluation
Abstract Leaves of custard apple are widely used in many places as a popular dietary supplement for the treatment of diabetes. Flavonoids are known to have anti-diabetic activity. In this study, the main flavonoid epimers were separated. The crude extract was first screened by HPLC-DAD before and after incubation with DPPH method to evaluate the antioxidants. An efficient extraction method was employed to remove non-flavonoid components.

Fate of Labile Organic Carbon in Paddy Soil Is Regulated by Microbial Ferric Iron Reduction
Global paddy soil is the primary source of methane, a potent greenhouse gas. It is therefore highly important to understand the carbon cycling in paddy soil. Microbial reduction of iron, which is widely found in paddy soil, is likely coupled with the oxidation of dissolved organic matter (DOM) and suppresses methanogenesis.

Standardization of complex biologically derived spectrochemical datasets
Abstract Spectroscopic techniques such as Fourier-transform infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy are used to study interactions of light with biological materials. This interaction forms the basis of many analytical assays used in disease screening/diagnosis, microbiological studies, and forensic/environmental investigations. Advantages of spectrochemical analysis are its low cost, minimal sample preparation, non-destructive nature and substantially accurate results.
