Risk analysis of power surging in novel power systems: a hybrid framework driven by accident chain and WPMixer
Abstract To address the complex dynamic power risks in novel power systems induced by the superimposition of “three-high” characteristics (high renewable energy penetration, high direct current infeed ratio, and high load density) and extreme weather, this paper proposes the concept of “power surging” alongside a comprehensive risk analysis and planning methodology.
Observation of exact quantum critical states

Abstract Anderson localization describes the suppression of wave transport in disordered media. In quantum systems, it gives rise to extended, localized and critical eigenstates, with the latter showing properties between the other two. Characterizing critical states is challenging because it requires analysis in the thermodynamic limit or a universal mechanism that identifies them.

Polarization Photovoltage Transistor enabling Amplified Responsivity and Sensitivity
Abstract With the rapid advancement of multi-dimensional detection, there is an urgent demand for next-generation polarization detectors capable of achieving high responsivity, fast speed, and strong polarization sensitivity, metrics that are typically limited by fundamental trade-offs. Two-dimensional (2D) materials offer a promising platform, yet their weak intrinsic anisotropy constrains polarization ratio (PR) and overall device performance.
Logical multi-qubit entanglement with dual-rail superconducting qubits - Nature Physics

Abstract Recent advances in quantum error correction in various hardware platforms have demonstrated operation near and beyond the threshold for fault-tolerant quantum computing. However, scaling up to achieve the exponential suppression of logical errors needed for fault tolerance remains challenging. Erasure qubits offer a path towards resource-efficient error correction, which enables the hardware-level detection of dominant error types.

Dynamic expectation strength and precision shape human pain perception through shared and dissociable α-oscillatory mechanisms
Fig 2. Experimental design and validation of expectation manipulation. (A) Task structure and trial timeline. The top panel illustrates the overall experimental protocol, and the bottom panel depicts the sequence of events within a single trial. Each trial began with a fixation cross, followed by a predictive visual cue (diamond or square). After a jittered anticipation interval (4–6 s), a brief laser stimulus—either low (LP) or high (HP) in intensity—was delivered to the dorsum of the left hand.
An all-in-one Hall rectenna with a bandwidth over 100 GHz
Abstract Nonlinear electron transport in extrinsically doped p–n diodes or junctions is used for rectification and wave mixing in electronic and optoelectronic applications. However, such rectifiers and mixers have fundamental limitations in terms of cut-off wavelength, frequency, sensitivity and working temperature due to thermal-voltage thresholds and transit-time limits. Here we report an all-in-one nonlinear Hall rectenna based on a type-II Weyl semimetal at room temperature.
A thermal-noise-resilient microwave quantum network up to 4 K - Nature Electronics
Abstract Quantum communication at microwave frequencies is of use in the development of scalable quantum networks. However, such networks are fundamentally constrained by the susceptibility of microwave photons to thermal noise. Here we report a thermal-noise-resilient microwave quantum network with coherent coupling between two superconducting qubits through a 4-K-thermalized niobium–titanium transmission line.

Study on the mechanism and kinetics of dealkalization of red mud enhanced by ultrasonic
ABSTRACT A novel process for the dealkalization from red mud (RM) using ultrasonic-assisted carbide slag has been proposed. In the conventional dealkalization (CD) process, the Na2O content decreases from 6.9% to 1.8%. In contrast, during the ultrasonic dealkalization (UD) process, the Na2O content decreases from 6.9% to 0.5%, and the dealkalization efficiency reaches 92.8%. Leaching kinetics demonstrate that ultrasound reduces the apparent activation energy (Ea) by 7.41 kJ/mol.

A TEE-Based Federated Privacy Protection Method: Proposal and Implementation
1. Introduction In the era of big data, people are paying additional attention to the potential value of data. To realize the potential value, it is necessary to find users with needs and appropriate service scenarios, which usually requires data exchange. In other words, the value of data depends on the fluidity of the data. However, in the process of data circulation and exchange, data holders must be wary of confidential data leakage, which has a negative effect on the generation of data value.
