Temporal changes in aqueous humor inflammatory cytokines of the contralateral eye after unilateral phacotrabeculectomy in rabbits
Abstract To determine whether unilateral phacotrabeculectomy induces detectable, time-dependent changes in the aqueous humor inflammatory cytokine profile of the contralateral unoperated eye, and to define the temporal fluctuation window. A unilateral phacotrabeculectomy model was established in New Zealand White rabbits. The contralateral unoperated eye was studied.

A highly sensitive genetically encoded red cAMP sensor for multiplex imaging in vivo
Abstract Circularly permuted green fluorescent protein (cpGFP)-based high-performance cAMP sensors have enabled real-time monitoring of cAMP dynamics with high spatiotemporal resolution in living animals. However, their utility is hampered by significant spectral overlap with other green/yellow fluorescent indicators and blue/cyan light-activated optogenetic actuators, limiting their compatibility in multiplexed imaging applications.

Congenital Hypothyroidism Dysregulates TRPC6 to Mediate Abnormal Dendritic Spine Growth of Hippocampal Neurons
1 Introduction Congenital hypothyroidism (CH) is a common neonatal disorder of the endocrine system with severe impacts on physical growth and neurodevelopment [1]. Unlike the reversible effects of thyroid hormone (TH) deficiency on abnormal metabolism and growth, CH may cause irreversible brain damage leading to mental retardation and impaired motor function [2, 3]. CH usually originates from defective thyroid gland development or insufficient synthesis and secretion of thyroxine [4].
A Machine Learning-Based Model to Estimate the Risk of Pulmonary Hypertension in Chronic Kidney Disease Patients
1 Introduction Pulmonary hypertension (PH) is common in patients with chronic kidney disease (CKD) or renal failure. Its prevalence ranges from 20% to 25% across different CKD stages [1, 2], and can reach up to 78% in patients referred for right heart catheterization (RHC) [3]. PH is defined as mean pulmonary arterial pressure (mPAP) of ≥25 mmHg, measured by RHC [4].

A Needle‐Like H2S‐Releasing and H2O2 Self‐Replenishing Nanoplatform for Enhanced Chemodynamic Tumor Immunotherapy
1 Introduction Chemodynamic therapy (CDT) has garnered praise from researchers due to its independence from light and oxygen, representing a novel non-invasive treatment strategy that cannot be overlooked.[1] The CDT system utilizes the Fenton/Fenton-like reactions of metal ions (e.g., Fe2+) or peroxidase (POD)-like nanozyme with intracellular H2O2 to generate highly toxic reactive oxygen species (ROS), damaging DNA and inducing protein denaturation, thereby effectively inhibiting tumor cell...
Synergism of tiny Ni clusters and Pt nanoparticles promoting efficient and stable electrocatalytic methanol oxidation and hydrogen evolution by water electrolysis
Synergism of tiny Ni clusters and Pt nanoparticles promoting efficient and stable electrocatalytic methanol oxidation and hydrogen evolution by water electrolysis Herein, we prepare a catalyst composed of tiny Ni clusters (Nics) coexisting with Pt nanoparticles (PtNPs), denoted as Pt10Ni/NC (NC refers to nitrogen-doped carbon).
