ACSS2-KAT5 complex-driven histone crotonylation orchestrates a pro-inflammatory program to promote the transition from MASLD to MASH
Abstract Inflammation is a pivotal driver of the progression from metabolic dysfunction-associated steatotic liver disease (MASLD) to metabolic dysfunction-associated steatohepatitis (MASH), an aggressive form associated with substantial liver-related mortality. However, the molecular mechanisms underlying the initiation and persistence of liver inflammation remain poorly defined.

The quality and reliability of short videos about diabetic foot on TikTok and Bilibili: a cross-sectional study
Abstract Diabetic foot represents one of the most serious complications of diabetes mellitus. Short videos on diabetic foot are increasingly disseminated through TikTok and Bilibili apps, which have emerged as dominant sources of health-related content. However, the credibility and quality of information in these short videos have not been systematically evaluated. Our study aims to assess the quality and reliability of Chinese short videos on diabetic foot shared on TikTok and Bilibili.
Macrophage phagocytosis checkpoints in DLBCL immunotherapy: an evidence-maturity framework from CD47 to CD200
Abstract Diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL) is treated with an expanding range of antibody- and cell-based therapies, yet macrophage phagocytosis checkpoints are still often discussed one molecule at a time. Here, we ask how far the evidence for each major axis has actually progressed in DLBCL immunotherapy.
Boosting luminescence in oxide phosphors by the vitrifying-devitrifying approach
Abstract Vitrification-devitrification process often results in the formation of translucent/transparent bulk glass-ceramics/ceramics with functionalities comparable to their crystalline counterparts. Here we show a significant enhancement and tunability of luminescence in Mg2Al4Si5O18+1.5x:xEu2+ (MAS:xEu) powders after being subjected to a vitrification-devitrification protocol.

Banxia xiexin decoction and its bioactive metabolites: multi-targeted mechanisms for suppressing gastric cancer progression, reversing chemoresistance, and remodeling the tumor microenvironment
Abstract Gastric cancer (GC) remains a leading cause of cancer-related mortality worldwide, primarily due to late diagnosis and limited benefit from surgery alone. Although chemotherapy, targeted agents, and immunotherapy have improved outcomes for selected patients, their clinical benefits are often limited by significant toxicity, acquired resistance, and the pronounced molecular heterogeneity of GC. Multi-target therapeutic approaches are therefore urgently needed.
GINMCL: graph isomorphism network-driven modality enhancement and cross-modal consistency learning for multi-modal fake news detection
In recent years, with the rapid development of social media platforms such as Twitter and Weibo, online social networks have gradually replaced traditional newspapers and magazines as the primary sources of information dissemination. Users freely share their daily lives and express their opinions on social networks, but this also provides opportunities for the widespread dissemination of fake news (Allcott & Gentzkow, 2017).
Gut microbial-derived indole-3-propionate improves cognitive function in Alzheimer’s disease
Abstract Intermittent fasting (IF) offers a potential strategy to counteract Alzheimer’s disease (AD) progression. In our 16-week study on AD transgenic mice, IF positively affected cognitive function and reduced amyloid-β (Aβ) accumulation, verifying the IF’s role in modulating neuroinflammation. Multiomics integration revealed strong links between IF-induced hippocampal gene expression, gut microbiota, and serum metabolites beneficial for cognition.

OTUB1 protein suppresses mTOR complex 1 (mTORC1) activity by deubiquitinating the mTORC1 inhibitor DEPTOR
Mechanistic target of rapamycin (mTOR) complex 1 (mTORC1) integrates various environmental signals to regulate cell growth and metabolism. DEPTOR, also termed DEPDC6, is an endogenous inhibitor of mTORC1 and mTORC2 activities. The abundance of DEPTOR centrally orchestrates the mTOR signaling network. However, the mechanisms by which DEPTOR stability is regulated are still elusive.
Enzymatic Polymerization-Activated Silver Nanoclusters Probe for in Situ Apoptosis Assay

Assessing the features of extreme smog in China and the differentiated treatment strategy
AbstractExtreme smog can have potentially harmful effects on human health, the economy and daily life. However, the average (mean) values do not provide strategically useful information on the hazard analysis and control of extreme smog. This article investigates China's smog extremes by applying extreme value analysis to hourly PM2.5 data from 2014 to 2016 obtained from monitoring stations across China.
Symmetry-breaking inelastic wave-mixing atomic magnetometry
The nonlinear magneto-optical rotation (NMOR) effect has prolific applications ranging from precision mapping of Earth’s magnetic field to biomagnetic sensing. Studies on collisional spin relaxation effects have led to ultrahigh magnetic field sensitivities using a single-beam ? scheme with state-of-the-art magnetic shielding/compensation techniques. However, the NMOR effect in this widely used single-beam ? scheme is peculiarly small, requiring complex radio-frequency phase-locking protocols.
Perpendicular growth of few-layered MoS2 nanosheets on MoO3 nanowires fabricated by direct anion exchange reactions for high-performance lithium-ion batteries - Journal of Materials Chemistry A (RSC Publishing)
One dimensional (1D) hierarchical core–shell structures (MoO @MoS ) constructed by perpendicular growth of few-layered MoS nanosheets on MoO nanowires were successfully fabricated by a direct anion-exchange reaction of the inorganic MoO nanowire precursor. The morphology and structure of the products can be controlled by adjusting the hybrid solvent in the anion-exchange process, and the contents of MoS and MoO in the core–shell nanowires can be easily tuned by adding a varied amount of thiourea.
