COLLEGE STATION, Texas (KBTX) - Texas A&M football announced its team captains for the 2026 season, and for the first time, quarterback Marcel Reed is one of the five captains. Joining Reed are tight end Micah Riley, linebacker Daymion Sanford and safeties Marcus Ratcliffe and Dalton Brooks, who will don the “C” on their jerseys this season. Players voted on team captains. Reed is entering his second year as a full-time signal caller for the Aggies. Last season, he threw 234-377 for 3169 yards.

JACKSON, Miss. (WLBT/Gray News) — The case of a woman who was still alive when she was taken for organ harvesting is entering another chapter in its legal battle. On Thursday, the Mississippi Supreme Court overturned a lower court’s decision to dismiss the case filed by the estate of Paula Denison against the Mississippi Organ Recovery Agency (MORA) and others. The Mississippi Supreme Court said the lower court erred by relying on outside materials when granting a motion to dismiss.
