COLLEGE STATION, Texas (KBTX) - As a quarterback at Timpson High School, Terry Bussey was the key piece to every aspect of the team’s offense. It ingrained in him an admirable work ethic — he always needed to push himself to the max for his team to be successful. Two seasons into his college career, Bussey has learned the lesson that sometimes less can be more. Over the offseason, Bussey said he put on 10 pounds of muscle that has helped produce some highlight-reel plays during fall camp.

HUNTSVILLE, Texas (KBTX) - On April 29, 1998, Sam Houston issued a press release announcing Bobby Williams would permanently hold the athletic director position after spending a year in an interim capacity. Approximately 24 hours later, Oklahoma put out a similar release announcing their new athletic director, Joe Castiglione. Under normal circumstances, the time period between these two releases would hold no significance.
