He was incredible and he mentored me and kind of made me into the person I was when I graduated,” said Sophie Krueger. “I decided that if he could do that for me, I would have a fulfilling 30-year career if I could do that for one kid. So that’s why I became a teacher, to try to be that mentor for at least one kid in my lifetime.” Krueger, a graduating Texas A&M University senior, said FFA is much more than a club.

Police respond to overturned prison bus in Limestone County

LIMESTONE COUNTY, Texas (KBTX) - An overturned prison bus has shut down east and westbound lanes of SH 164 East Wednesday morning. The Groesbeck Police Department said first responders are on the scene of a major, one-vehicle crash. According to the police department, the crash happened on SH 164 East just east of FM 3371. All occupants are accounted for, according to police. No word on injuries at this time.
