BRYAN, Texas (KBTX) — The Bryan Yard Dogs opened Fourth of July weekend with a 6-5 walk-off win over the Nacogdoches Niners on Friday night at Travis Major Field. The Niners jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the first inning, but Bryan answered with one run in the first and three more in the third to take a 4-3 lead into the middle innings. Nacogdoches tied the game in the fifth inning, ending what had been a stretch of 3 1/2 scoreless innings. The Niners then took the lead in the top of the ninth.
