NORMAL (25News Now) - A Chiddix Junior High School teacher and cheer coach was in court Thursday afternoon as he faces more than 40 separate charges for sexual misconduct with children. Andrew Miller, 40, pleaded not guilty to all charges, including grooming, indecent solicitation of a minor, and 42 counts of having child sex abuse material. Police arrested Miller Wednesday shortly after the 42-count indictment was issued.

NORMAL (25News Now) - A seventh-grade teacher and coach at Chiddix Junior High School, previously on paid administrative leave, is now facing more than 40 separate charges for sexual misconduct with children, according to Bloomington Police. Officers said they arrested 40-year-old Andrew Miller at 1:12 p.m. Wednesday during a traffic stop near Bunn Street and Hamilton Road. The arrest followed an indictment issued the same morning.

Power outages reported across Central Illinois amid severe weather

PEORIA (25News Now) - With the potential for widespread severe storms across Central Illinois, some of our neighbors are without power as early as 10:30 a.m. Wednesday. According to PowerOutage.com, at least 22,000 Illinois residents are without power. Of that sum, more than 3,900 live in Woodford County. Nearly 1,000 people living in McLean County reportedly do not have power at this time, and 941 in Peoria also are without power. Tazewell County showed slightly more than 100 folks without power.
