Case Report: Diffuse large B-cell lymphoma presenting predominantly with spinal cord involvement: a series of three cases confirmed by abdominopelvic lymph node biopsy
Abstract Purpose: Secondary central nervous system lymphoma (SCNSL) presenting with predominant spinal cord involvement is rare and often misdiagnosed. This case series aims to describe the clinical characteristics, diagnostic challenges, and the critical role of lymph node biopsy in confirming SCNSL in patients with spinal cord manifestations, with the goal of improving diagnostic accuracy for diffuse large B cell lymphoma (DLBCL) involving the spinal cord.
Thermal behavior of single energy pile in saline soil environments
Abstract Energy piles are increasingly applied in saline soil regions, yet the influence of salinity on their thermal performance is not sufficiently quantified. This study implements a salinity-dependent thermophysical property module—based on established correlations for thermal conductivity, density, and specific heat—within a three-dimensional numerical model of a single energy pile using COMSOL Multiphysics.

A patient with triple-negative breast cancer developed acute myocardial infarction after docetaxel chemotherapy: case report and literature review
Abstract We report the first case of an acute ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction (AMI) induced by docetaxel in a patient with triple-negative breast cancer (BC). Coronary angiography showed severe occlusions in multiple coronary arteries, and timely PCI surgery was successfully performed, saving the patient's life. Docetaxel is a commonly used taxane chemotherapy drug for treating breast cancer, which can cause numerous adverse drug reactions in cancer treatment.

T follicular helper cells transiently unlock a plasticity state in germinal centre B cells during the humoral immune response - Nature Cell Biology
Abstract During the germinal centre (GC) reaction, mature B cells undergo rapid and reversible phenotypic shifts that are essential for adaptive immunity. Here we report that GC B cells, unlike other mature B cells, transiently acquire a unique epigenetic plasticity, demonstrated by their enhanced capacity to reprogram to induced pluripotent stem cells. This plasticity depends on T follicular helper (TFH) cells and is not due to increased proliferation or MYC activation.

PTTG1-Mediated Pericyte Dysfunction Drives Diabetes-Induced Microvascular Dysfunction
Abstract Background: Pericytes are crucial for the development, stabilization, and functional regulation of microvasculature, especially in the retina. In diabetic retinopathy (DR), early loss of pericytes is a key event that drives microvascular dysfunction. Despite their critical role, the mechanisms underlying the functional heterogeneity of pericytes in DR remain poorly understood, impeding the development of effective therapeutic strategies.

Profiling the Activity of the Para-Caspase MALT1 in B-Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia for Potential Targeted Therapeutic Application
Abstract B-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia (B-ALL) remains a hard-to-treat disease with a poor prognosis in adults. Mucosa-associated lymphoid tissue lymphoma translocation protein 1 (MALT1) is a para-caspase required for B-cell receptor (BCR)-mediated NF-κB activation. Inhibition of MALT1 in preclinical models has proven efficacious in many B-cell malignancies including chronic lymphocytic leukemia, mantle cell lymphoma and diffuse large B-cell lymphoma.

Abstract Metabolic dysfunction-associated fatty liver disease (MAFLD) is a growing threat leading to substantial disease burden globally. Poor sleep and physical inactivity are common in modern societies and independently associated with MAFLD, however, their joint effects on MAFLD remains unclear. This population-based cross-sectional study was conducted in Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, China, between July 2019 and September 2021.
From Thoughts to Actions: Neural Network Mechanisms and Prediction of Suicide in Major Depressive Disorder
Suicide is a serious and preventable global public health issue that causes an estimated 700,000 deaths annually, with approximately 20 times more attempts (). This alarming toll underscores the urgent need to prioritize the reduction of suicide-related deaths worldwide. Risk factors for suicide are prevalent at both population and individual levels, including mental disorders (notably depression and alcohol use disorder), chronic pain, illness, and isolation ().

Effect of Electrode Induction Melting Gas Atomization on Powder Quality: Satellite Formation Mechanism and Pressure
Abstract : Electrode induction melting gas atomization (EIGA) is a wildly applied method for preparing ultra-clean and spherical metal powders, which is a completely crucible-free melting and atomization process. Based on several experiments, we found that although the sphericity of metal powders prepared by EIGA was higher than that of other atomization methods, there were still some satellite powders.
CRSNet: Cloud and Cloud Shadow Refinement Segmentation Networks for Remote Sensing Imagery
Abstract : Cloud detection is a critical task in remote sensing image tasks. Due to the influence of ground objects and other noises, the traditional detection methods are prone to miss or false detection and rough edge segmentation in the detection process. To avoid the defects of traditional methods, Cloud and Cloud Shadow Refinement Segmentation Networks are proposed in this paper. The network can correctly and efficiently detect smaller clouds and obtain finer edges.

Preoperative and intraoperative assessment of myometrial invasion in patients with FIGO stage I non-endometrioid endometrial carcinoma-a large-scale, multi-center, and retrospective study | Diagnostic Pathology | Full Text
Introduction Myometrial invasion is a prognostic factor for lymph node metastases and decreased survival in non-endometrioid endometrial carcinoma patients. Herein, we explored the mode of myometrial invasion diagnosis in FIGO stage I non-endometrioid carcinoma and evaluated the differences in diagnostic efficiency among intraoperative frozen section (IFS), intraoperative gross examination (IGE), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), and computed tomography (CT) in clinical practice.
