[2610.10271] Interval Localization for Multiple Change-points with Error Rate Control
Interval localization in multiple change-point detection aims to identify intervals containing true change-points while controlling false discoveries. We formulate this task as a multiple testing problem over detector-reported intervals and develop an algorithm-agnostic and distribution-free framework that controls the interval-level FDR, the expected proportion of retained intervals containing no true change-points.

NT-proBNP–echocardiographic discordance in type 2 diabetes: links with adiposity and left atrioventricular coupling
Abstract Background: NT-proBNP is widely used to support the exclusion of heart failure, but its concentration may be lower in individuals with excess adiposity and insulin resistance. Whether NT-proBNP below 125 pg/mL excludes early echocardiographic abnormalities in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) remains uncertain. Methods: This retrospective cross-sectional study included 191 adults with T2DM hospitalized between May 2024 and November 2025.
Goji berry chromoplasts as water-dispersible carotenoid vehicles: characterization and stability assessment under different storage conditions
Abstract Chromoplasts are organelles found in plant cells that store carotenoids. Their naturally hydrophilic structure, which accommodates carotenoids, has garnered increasing interest in recent years. However, the structural characteristics of carotenoid-loaded chromoplasts are still not fully understood, and their impacts on the stability and antioxidant capacity of carotenoids remain unclear under different storage conditions.
Bilateral adrenal adenomas presenting with ACTH-independent Cushing’s syndrome and primary aldosteronism: diagnostic insights from multi-steroid adrenal venous sampling
Abstract Background: Primary aldosteronism (PA) is the most prevalent cause of secondary hypertension (HTN), and adrenocorticotropic hormone (ACTH)-independent Cushing’s syndrome (CS) represents a distinct form of adrenal-derived secondary HTN. Their coexistence resulting from aldosterone- and cortisol-producing adenomas (A/CPAs) is an extremely rare clinical entity.
Deep Spatially Varying Coefficient Model for Interpolation of Non-Stationary Meteorological Data
1 Introduction Analysis, interpolation, and forecasting of meteorological data, especially air temperature data, are becoming increasingly crucial in the context of global warming. With the progression of urbanization, urban areas are becoming warmer than surrounding rural areas, a phenomenon known as the urban heat island (UHI) effect (Bornstein 1968).
Membrane-anchored DNA nanodevice with allosteric aptamer arms enables parallel probing and on-site drug delivery
Abstract DNA-based molecular computation enables targeting of cells via multiple surface receptors. However, existing platforms are often limited to single-receptor detection per operation or rely on freely diffusing components, a common source of off-target interference. Here we show an intelligent DNA nanodevice (DND) that integrates multivalent recognition, logic‑gated computation, and spatially precise drug delivery in a single nanostructure.

Divergent immunometabolic reprogramming in psoriasis and atopic dermatitis: a tale of two inflammatory skin diseases
Abstract Psoriasis (PSO) and atopic dermatitis (AD) are the two most common chronic inflammatory skin diseases in clinical practice. For a long time, they have been classified in pathological immunology under the opposing model of “Th17/IL-17 vs. Th2/IL-4-IL-13.” However, over the past decade, with the rise of immunometabolism, our understanding of chronic inflammatory diseases has undergone a significant shift.

MEF: End-to-End Slicing for 5G and Beyond
on Posted on Reading Time: 3 minutes Network slicing is fast becoming a hot topic tied to 5G. That is because 5G has the ability from the Radio Access Network (RAN) side of things to allocate wireless performance resources for a given subscriber’s slice. While 5G promises many advanced capabilities, it is only a wireless access technology.
Maternal high-fat diet exposure is associated with altered hypothalamic microglial development and reduced early postnatal TGFβ1 signaling in male offspring
Abstract Background: The hypothalamus plays a central role in maintaining energy homeostasis by integrating peripheral metabolic signals. Maternal high-fat diet (HFD) exposure has been shown to disrupt hypothalamic development and increase offspring susceptibility to metabolic disorders. Microglia, as key regulators of neuroimmune interactions and synaptic remodeling, are increasingly recognized as critical mediators of metabolic programming.
Design of a Fano-resonance-enhanced dielectric grating for ultralow-filling-factor superconducting nanowire single-photon detector
Abstract Superconducting nanowire single photon detectors (SNSPDs) exhibit excellent performance in the near-infrared band, but their application range is limited by the detection efficiency and detection speed. In this paper, we propose a high-efficient and ultralow-filling-factor design scheme based on Fano resonance which is excited by a one-dimensional silicon dielectric grating.
Using AI analysis to decode SDG integration in China’s spatial planning
Abstract Spatial planning (SP) has been widely recognized as a key mechanism for localizing the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). However, little is known about the extent to which SP integrates SDGs, particularly in rapidly urbanizing and resource-constrained transitional economies. China’s 2019 reform of territorial spatial planning (TSP) offers a critical case for examining how sustainability principles are embedded in city governance through a unified planning framework.
An autonomous single-actuator UAV with omnidirectional field of view, high agility, and collision resistance
Abstract A single-actuator unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) named PULSAR II is driven by one motor and achieves three-dimensional maneuverability and natural self-rotation. This motion enables an omnidirectional field of view (FoV) for light detection and ranging (LiDAR), thereby eliminating unobserved areas. To enhance agility, we first built an accurate propulsion model using a data-driven method and compensated its nonlinearities.

Vitamins are essential for enhancing immune function and mitigating systemic inflammation. However, the relationship between various vitamins, particularly B vitamins, and MPP in children remains underexplored. This study aims to assess the nutritional status of multiple vitamins in children with MPP and their relationship to the condition.
B cells drive CD4 T cell immunosenescence and age-associated health decline
Editor’s summary Immunosenescence is the gradual age-associated decline in immune system function that renders older adults more susceptible to infection and disease. However, the mechanisms driving immunosenescence remain poorly understood. Khan et al. found that B cell–deficient mice maintain a CD4 T cell compartment that resists age-related decline and exhibit improved overall health, including an extended life span, compared with control mice.

Assimilative causal inference - Nature Communications
Abstract Causal inference is fundamental across scientific disciplines, yet existing methods struggle to capture instantaneous, time-evolving causal relationships in complex, high-dimensional systems. In this paper, assimilative causal inference (ACI) is developed, which is a methodological framework that leverages Bayesian data assimilation to trace causes backward from observed effects. ACI solves the inverse problem rather than quantifying forward influence.
