NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) – The start of Tuesday evening is a stormy situation particularly for New Orleans and the surrounding metro area with flooding potential. The MARINE WARNING that we’ve been monitoring by Lake Pontchartrain is set to expire at 5:45 p.m. following severe thunderstorms moving through the area. There’s also a FLASH FLOOD WARNING until 7 p.m. in Jefferson, Orleans, St. Bernard and St. Charles parishes.
