(WVUE) - A Coastal Flood Warning is in effect Thursday morning for several parishes across southeast Louisiana as the remnants of Tropical Storm Bertha continue to push water onto normally dry land along the Lake Pontchartrain shoreline. Affected parishes The National Weather Service issued the warning for Southeast St. Tammany, Lower St. Bernard, Eastern Orleans, and Lower Plaquemines parishes.

Sandbag locations open ahead of incoming storm

(WVUE) - Several sandbag locations are being set up across the viewing area ahead of an incoming storm that could trigger significant flooding. In St. Tammany Parish, residents can go to the Airport Road Barn in Slidell, the Parish Government Complex in Mandeville, the Parish Fairgrounds in Covington and the Fritchie Barn in Pearl River. Residents should bring their own shovel.
