Abstract Clear cell renal cell carcinoma (ccRCC) is largely driven by the transcription factor hypoxia-inducible factor 2α (HIF-2α)1. Here we show that monotherapy with casdatifan—an orally bioavailable, potent and selective HIF-2α inhibitor2—produces meaningful, durable antitumour activity with manageable safety in individuals with refractory metastatic ccRCC.

20/03/2026 Natalia Perrett and Emily Reed successfully represented a protected party in hotly contested and long-running Court of Protection proceedings before HHJ Rogers in Nottingham. The judgment has now been published – Nottinghamshire County Council v JW and SW [2026] EWCOP 13 (T2). HHJ Rogers departed from the opinion of the reporting expert, Dr Todd, and determined that P has capacity in all domains.
