PHOENIX (AZFamily) — Another warm start to our morning with lows in the upper 80s. This afternoon, we will see high temperatures around 109 degrees. Our average high this time of year is around 107 degrees, and it looks like temperatures will start to drop closer to that next week. A First Alert has been issued for Sunday. You will notice the increase in moisture, and that moisture will bring instability and an increasing chance of storms.

Our average high this time of year is around 107 degrees, and it looks like temperatures will start to drop closer to that next week. Storms are likely to be limited to Eastern and Southeastern Arizona today, with more activity in the higher elevations on Saturday.

PHOENIX (AZFamily) — After the heat kicked in yesterday, we ended up with a high of 112 degrees. That is 6 degrees above our average this time of year. Today we will see high temps around 107 degrees and even cooler weather starting on Sunday. Our weather changes are all brought to us from a low pressure system passing north of us. This system will bring some strong winds our way, especially up in the high country.
