A unified multiscale framework for phase transitions in opinion dynamics: integrating interaction mechanisms, establishing an empirical phase criterion, and predicting cluster structures
Abstract Public discussions on digital platforms often evolve toward different end states, including convergence, polarisation, and the coexistence of multiple camps, even under similar levels of controversy. Existing research on opinion dynamics has examined interaction mechanisms, phase-transition boundaries, steady-state structures, and multistability largely in separate strands.
Staged Lateral Lumbar Interbody Fusion Targeting Driver and Compensatory Structural Segments for Adult Degenerative Scoliosis: A Novel Strategy and Early Outcomes
1 Introduction Adult degenerative scoliosis (ADS) is a progressive spinal deformity (Cobb angle > 10°) characterized by asymmetric disc and facet joint degeneration in skeletally mature individuals [1]. With a reported prevalence of 68% in adults over 50 years, ADS frequently leads to vertebral rotation, lateral listhesis, and spinal stenosis, resulting in debilitating back pain, radiculopathy, and neurogenic claudication [2].
The associations between blue space exposure and lung function in young adults: a cross-sectional study
Abstract The benefits of natural environments for respiratory health are increasingly recognized; however, the effects of blue spaces on young adults’ respiratory health remain understudied. Young adulthood is critical for peak lung function, and exposures during this period may affect later respiratory health. We quantified blue space–lung function associations in Chinese undergraduates.
Long-read transcriptome dataset of tobacco across multiple tissues
Abstract Tobacco (Nicotiana tabacum) is both a major industrial crop and a foundational model organism for plant biology. While alternative splicing significantly diversifies transcriptome complexity, tobacco isoform annotation remains incomplete, hampered by the limitations of previous short-read sequencing efforts. To address this gap, we generated a long-read transcriptome dataset across five tobacco tissues using the PacBio Sequel IIe platform, producing 198.4 million subreads.
