SAN ANTONIO — West Nile season is just getting started in Bexar County, and with all the recent rainfall and summer temperatures setting in, experts with the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service say it's likely to be a busy season. "When you have more rainfall, you can expect that you're probably gonna have more cases of West Nile than you would in drought years," Keck said. West Nile has already been detected in a mosquito trap near Sunshine Drive and Hillcrest on the Northwest Side last month.
