Cold sintering of hybrid copper-iodides in transparent ceramics using dolomitization-inspired densification
Abstract The non-toxic hybrid luminescent copper(I) iodides are competitive solution for environmentally sustainable applications in solar cells, lighting, and detectors. However, their susceptibility to elevated temperature and oxidation creates great hurdles for technological integration due to the lack of suitable encapsulation.

We propose hollow metal-dielectric-metal hybridized nanodisks to enhance both the magnetic dipole (MD) and electric dipole (ED) emissions. By employing a hollow hole in the center of the hybridized nanodisks, the maximum magnetic field intensity is obtained in the hole and can be used to fully improve MD emitter emission. This indicates that the radiative decay rate ($RE$) of the MD emitter is 965-fold enhanced in the hole and has been achieved with a large quantum efficiency of over 80%.

Directional light emission from ${\mathrm{WS}}_{2}$ monolayer driven by self-hybridized van der Waals nanoresonator
Bulk transition-metal dichalcogenides (TMDs) materials are becoming attractive candidates for the study of light-matter interactions and manipulation of light emission due to its surprisingly high refractive index in visible to infrared range. Here, we propose a nanoresonator composed of bulk tungsten disulfide (WS2) as an all-dielectric nanoantenna, demonstrating its capability in controlling the emission of light.

The evolutionary origin of naturally occurring intermolecular Diels-Alderases from Morus alba - Nature Communications
Abstract Biosynthetic enzymes evolutionarily gain novel functions, thereby expanding the structural diversity of natural products to the benefit of host organisms. Diels-Alderases (DAs), functionally unique enzymes catalysing [4 + 2] cycloaddition reactions, have received considerable research interest. However, their evolutionary mechanisms remain obscure.

Cold Sintering Mediated Engineering of Polycrystalline SnSe with High Thermoelectric Efficiency
Despite the attractive thermoelectric properties in single crystals, the fabrication of high-performance polycrystalline SnSe by a cost-effective strategy remains challenging. In this study, we prepare the undoped SnSe ceramic with remarkable thermoelectric efficiency by the combination of a cold sintering process (CSP) and thermal annealing.
The Bias of Using Cross-Validation in Genomic Predictions and Its Correction
Abstract Cross-validation (CV) is a widely used technique in statistical learning for model evaluation and selection. Meanwhile, various of statistical learning methods, such as Generalized Least Square (GLS), Linear Mixed-Effects Models (LMM), and regularization methods are commonly used in genomic predictions, a field that utilizes DNA polymorphisms to predict phenotypic traits.

宫颈上皮内瘤变小鼠模型构建的研究进展
Cervical intraepithelial neoplasia is mostly treated by surgery, and clinically specific drugs are lacking. Although surgery can remove transformed lesions, the stump has the risk of lesions under the continuous action of viruses and other factors. Therefore, prevention and treatment of CIN require suitable animal models. Cervical lesions usually manifest as a series of continuous processes, and this progressive pathological process makes it difficult to replicate in animal models.
Shedding Light on Lysosomal Malondialdehyde Affecting Vitamin B12 Transport during Cerebral Ischemia/Reperfusion Injury Original
Cerebral ischemia-reperfusion injury (CIRI) is often accompanied by upregulation of homocysteine (Hcy). Excessive Hcy damages cerebral vascular endothelial cells and neurons, inducing neurotoxicity and even neurodegeneration. Normally, supplementation of vitamin B12 is an ideal intervention to reduce Hcy. However, vitamin B12 therapy is clinically inefficacious for CIRI. Considering oxidative stress is closely related to CIRI, the lysosome is the pivotal site for vitamin B12 transport.

Study on the Properties and Morphology of Nano-ZnO Modified Asphalt Based on Molecular Dynamics and Experiments
Abstract : Plenty of research has verified that nano-ZnO particles could improve the properties of asphalt, but studies on nano-ZnO-modified asphalt haven’t been conducted at the molecular level. Therefore, to investigate the effect of ZnO particles on the properties, structure and morphology of asphalt, the molecular dynamics (MD) methods were carried out.
