A Compact and Fast Single-Spike TTFS Encoder With Ultralow Operating Voltage for Efficient Neuromorphic Fourier Transform
1 Introduction Fourier transform (FT)serves as a foundational mathematical framework in signal processing, facilitating the conversion of signals from the time domain to the frequency domain. This transformation is essential for extracting intrinsic frequency-domain characteristics across a wide range of disciplines, including telecommunications, medical imaging, and spectral analysis.
Trap-Programmable Ruddlesden–Popper Perovskite Nanocrystals for Persistent Optoelectronic Memory and Photonic Synapses
1 Introduction The rapid growth of artificial intelligence, distributed sensing, and data-intensive edge technologies has intensified the search for hardware platforms that can overcome the bandwidth and energy penalties of conventional von Neumann architectures [1-4]. In biological systems, perception, memory formation, and signal processing are tightly coupled in space and time, allowing complex environmental information to be converted into adaptive responses with high efficiency [5-8].

Chiral superfluorescence from perovskite superlattices at room temperature
Abstract Superfluorescence (SF) is the collective emission of intense, coherent light from an interacting ensemble of quantum emitters1,2,3,4. Although SF has been observed in several solid-state materials5,6,7,8, the spontaneous generation of circularly polarized SF from chiral materials (chiral SF) has not been realized9,10.
Targeting cGAS-STING-macrophage axis: a novel therapeutic horizon for renal fibrosis
Abstract Renal fibrosis, a pivotal pathological hallmark of chronic kidney disease (CKD), arises from persistent inflammatory responses and extracellular matrix (ECM) deposition. Emerging evidence indicates the cyclic GMP-AMP synthase-stimulator of interferon genes (cGAS-STING) signaling pathway has exerted a crucial influence on the progression of renal fibrosis.
Reno-protective mechanisms of curcumin in diabetic nephropathy
Abstract Curcumin has a pivotal role in diabetic nephropathy (DN), intervening in its progression through molecular, pathological, and clinical levels. This review systematically summarizes how curcumin modulates multiple pathways, ameliorates pathological alterations, and improves the metabolic disorders in DN. However, its clinical efficacy is constrained by low bioavailability.

To evaluate the safety, stability, and efficiency of the proposed method, extensive simulations were performed using MATLAB R2024b on a system running Ubuntu 18.04.6 LTS. The experiments were executed on a platform equipped with a 12th-generation 16-thread Intel® Core™ i5-12600KF CPU, an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070Ti GPU, and 16GB of RAM. To verify the effectiveness of our proposed lane-changing method, we constructed a series of experimental scenarios.

Radical Reductive Formylation of N-heteroarenes with Formic acid under Catalyst- and Solvent-Free conditions N-formyl-heterocycles are commonly found in pharmaceuticals and bioactive drugs. However, circumventing the typical catalytic transfer hydrogenation of N-heteroarenes and formic acid for the construction of these compounds, thus avoiding potential non-green issues remains a challenge.

DFT Study on Rh(II)/Guanidine-Catalyzed Asymmetric N-H bond Insertion of Benzophenone Imine
DFT Study on Rh(II)/Guanidine-Catalyzed Asymmetric N-H bond Insertion of Benzophenone Imine The enantioselective carbene insertion into the N-H bond of N-sp²-hybridized imines has proven to be an efficient method for synthesizing optically active N-unprotected amino acids. In this work, the mechanism of Rh₂(esp)₂/chiral guanidine-catalyzed asymmetric N-H bond insertion of benzophenone imine with α-diazoester was explored using DFT calculations with B3LYP-D3(BJ) functional.

Open‐shell Poly(3,4‐dioxythiophene) Radical for Highly Efficient Photothermal Conversion
1 Introduction Organic semiconductive polymers based on polythiophenes (PTs) have been the subject of extensive research for over three decades owing to their straightforward structure, convenient synthesis, and wide application in various fields.[1-3] Poly(3-hexylthiophene) (P3HT) and poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene): poly(styrenesulfonate) (PEDOT: PSS) stand out as two globally recognized materials among the multitude of organic semiconductive polymers (Figure 1a).
Temporal localization of upper extremity bilateral synergistic coordination using wearable accelerometers
Traditional methods of showing bilateral synergistic movement or coordination between the two limbs show kinematic quantities that change in a correlated manner, e.g., by assessing the force generation of both hands during a given task. Not only is such methodology limiting in the movements that can be assessed, but a correlated change in a particular number of variables does not necessarily indicate a time-dependent coordination of movement.

Automatic detection of seizures within zebrafish larvae epilepsy models using single-channel electroencephalography
Abstract Researchers continue to pursue new drugs capable of treating intractable, or drug-resistant, epilepsy as a large number of patients do not see a reduction in the number of seizures from current treatments. To quicken the pace of drug research, zebrafish (Danio rerio) have been utilized as a model organism for testing anticonvulsant drugs before clinical trials.
Ultrafast Electron‐Transfer Via Hybrid States at Perovskite/Fullerene Interface
1 Introduction Perovskite solar cells are drawing tremendous interest as a promising next-generation photovoltaic technology with a rapidly increasing power conversion efficiency (PCE) exceeding 26%.[1-4] Among the state-of-the-art devices, high internal quantum efficiencies approaching unity are achieved, indicating ≈100% charge extraction efficiency from perovskite via charge-transport layers (CTL) and finally collected by electrodes.[5, 6] In the conventional viewpoint, such effective...
Compartmentalized mitochondrial ferroptosis converges with optineurin-mediated mitophagy to impact airway epithelial cell phenotypes and asthma outcomes | Nature Communications
Abstract A stable mitochondrial pool is crucial for healthy cell function and survival. Altered redox biology can adversely affect mitochondria through induction of a variety of cell death and survival pathways, yet the understanding of mitochondria and their dysfunction in primary human cells and in specific disease states, including asthma, is modest.

Steric hindrance of N6-methyl in m6A and the application for specific loci detection
Steric hindrance of N6-methyl in m6A and the application for specific loci detection We found that the N6 methyl group of N6-methyladenine enables to hinder the methylation of N6-methyladenine at the N1 position by DMS. Based on this, we have devised a novel method for detecting N6-methyladenine, which was successfully applied to identify specific m6A loci in 28S rRNA.
