Facing West Virginia, the two seed, in the final was going to be a tough battle. The only time this season the two faced each other in the regular season, the Mountaineers swept the Jayhawks, so some vengeance was also in play.

WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) - The Parrish family is no stranger to success, whether on the wrestling mat, the track or even the NFL gridiron. Twin brothers Jason and Josh Parrish added to that legacy Sunday, helping Wichita State track and field hoist the American Conference championship trophy for the men’s outdoor conference title. Both track stars for the Shockers won back-to-back conference championships in their individual events. Jason won the 400-meter hurdles, and Josh won the 110-meter hurdles.
