Perivascular injection of a pH-responsive and protease-degradable hydrogel with rapamycin-loaded liposomes inhibits neointimal hyperplasia after carotid wire injury in mice
Abstract Neointimal hyperplasia is a major cause of restenosis and graft failure after vascular interventions. Perivascular drug delivery offers a potential solution, but achieving sustained and condition-dependent release at injured sites remains challenging. Here, we developed an injectable hydrogel with pH-sensitive and protease-susceptible characteristics (OHA-CS/GelMA) encapsulating rapamycin-loaded liposomes (Rapa-Lipo@Gel).
4-Methoxydalbergione triggers ferroptosis in bladder cancer by suppressing the AKT/mTOR/GPX4 axis
Abstract Due to its high recurrence and pronounced metastatic potential, bladder cancer (BC) remains a significant and persistent clinical challenge. Here, we investigate the anti-tumour effects of 4-Methoxydalbergione (4MOD), a naturally occurring flavonoid obtained from Dalbergia sissoo Roxb. In T24 human and MBT2 mouse BC cell lines, 4MOD dose-dependently suppressed proliferation, migration, and invasion; colony formation was additionally suppressed in T24 cells.

Noun and Verb (Re)learning: A Comparative Perspective on Acquisition and Post-Stroke Aphasia
1 Introduction What makes verbs harder than nouns to learn in childhood—and to relearn after brain injury in many cases? Child language acquisition and aphasia recovery are often treated as separate enterprises—one about language construction, the other about reconstruction after impairment. Yet, both are fundamentally concerned with how the human brain builds, organizes, and rebuilds lexical knowledge.

Response of supersaturated TDG distribution characteristics to thermal stratification in a cascading large deep reservoir
Abstract Cascade hydropower stations frequently lead to supersaturated total dissolved gases (TDGs), harming aquatic organisms. In deep reservoirs, thermal stratification and upstream inflow slow TDG release. Using a two-dimensional model of Baihetan Reservoir, we found: (1) thermal stratification remains intact but deepens with increasing inflow; (2) the thermocline restricts supersaturated water movement; and (3) after inflow stops, stratification persists and TDG recovery varies by depth.

Integrator subunit INTS12 links ribotoxic stress to transcription-coupled nucleotide excision repair - Nature Structural & Molecular Biology
Abstract Cells use transcription-coupled nucleotide excision repair (TC-NER) to efficiently resolve transcription-blocking DNA lesions caused by genotoxic stress such as ultraviolet (UV) irradiation. However, UV also induces RNA damage, triggering a cytoplasmic ribotoxic stress response (RSR). Whether and how RSR affects nuclear TC-NER has remained unclear. Here we identify INTS12, a flexible, poorly characterized subunit of the Integrator complex, as a key mediator linking RSR to TC-NER.
