If you take the South Shore Line to work or into Chicago for the weekend, your trip is about to cost more. A fare hike is coming this summer —the first since 2018. WSBT 22s Tyonna Baxter joins us live from the South Bend International Airport and the South Shore station there. A 10% fare increase is coming to the South Shore this summer. The Northern Indiana Commuter Transportation District approved that 10% increase Wednesday.
