SACRAMENTO, Calif. — Grant Napear is returning to Sacramento radio nearly five years after losing both his television and radio jobs in the same week. Napear, the longtime voice of Northern California sports, announced he will host a new show on Fox Sports Radio beginning Tuesday at 3 p.m. The program airs weekdays from 3 to 6 p.m. on 104.7 FM, 890 AM and the Fox Sports KSAC app. “I’ve been gone five years,” Napear said.

Fewer people know how to drive them. Do you know how to drive a “stick?” When automatic transmissions eliminated the need for drivers to use a clutch and stick, there were still advantages to a manual transmission. Many drivers preferred them because they made the vehicle more fuel efficient.
