Nuclearity-dependent design principles of ruthenium catalysts for selective hydroconversion of diverse polyolefins
Abstract Polyolefin waste presents a major upcycling challenge because of its chemical inertness. Ruthenium catalysts are highly active for polyethylene hydrogenolysis, but often overproduce methane and linear alkanes and show limited substrate scope. Here we establish a mechanistic framework showing that the interplay between Ru nuclearity, valence, and support acidity governs the selectivity in Ru/NbOx-catalyzed polyolefin hydroconversion.

GitLab on Kubernetes: Production-Ready PostgreSQL and Redis HA
Running GitLab on Kubernetes is remarkably straightforward if you stick to the official Helm chart—until you hit the database tier. The bundled PostgreSQL and Redis instances are perfectly fine for taking GitLab for a spin, but they are single points of failure. The moment one of those pods restarts, your entire CI/CD pipeline grinds to a halt. This guide walks you through replacing those fragile bundled databases with true, production-grade Highly Available (HA) clusters managed by KubeBlocks.
Activating GPR55 protects cochlear hair cells against cisplatin-induced ototoxicity via inhibiting MAPK pathway
Abstract Cisplatin (CDDP) is an effective chemotherapeutic agent used to treat solid tumors, but it can cause irreversible hearing loss. Currently, there are no specific preventive measures available for this side effect. G protein-coupled receptor 55 (GPR55) exhibits antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and anti-apoptotic properties and is implicated in various disease processes. Nevertheless, whether GPR55 plays a role in CDDP-induced hearing loss remains unclear.

Ultrahigh-resolution nanoimprint patterning of quantum-dot light-emitting diodes via capillary self-assembly - Nature Photonics
Abstract High pixel resolution is critical for next-generation quantum-dot light-emitting diode (QLED) display technologies. Although advances in quantum-dot patterning have improved resolution, the reduction in pixel size often degrades emission efficiency and pattern uniformity. Here we develop a nanoimprint strategy using nanohole-array moulds to fabricate nano-QLEDs via capillary action-induced self-assembly of quantum dots.
