SHASTA COUNTY, Calif. - Crews from CAL FIRE Shasta-Trinity Unit are responding to a vegetation fire that is burning to the northeast of Cottonwood and southwest of Shingletown in Shasta County. The fire can be seen burning on the Inskip Hill 1 Alert California camera. According to Genasys Protect, there are no evacuation warnings or orders associated with the fire, which is burning in the area of Lava Lane and Wildcat Road. Ground and aerial assets have been deployed to respond to the fire.
