Global rise of a wheat pathogen through two-stage evolutionary emergence coupled with aerial dispersal
Abstract The rise of plant pathogens following crop domestication and their subsequent global spread pose persistent threats to food security, yet the mechanisms underlying host jumps and rapid adaptation in obligate biotrophs remain unclear. Using 319 Puccinia striiformis f. sp. tritici (Pst) genomes and virulence phenotypes of 234 isolates across six continents, we construct its origin and global dissemination. Our analyses support a two-stage emergence model: P.
Accuracy assessment of Chinese large language models in psoriasis management: a multicenter expert evaluation study
Abstract Psoriasis patients in China face severe barriers to disease knowledge acquisition and limited access to medical resources, creating an urgent demand for reliable, evidence-based patient education tools. This multicenter expert evaluation study aimed to systematically assess the quality and clinical applicability of mainstream Chinese large language models (LLMs) in answering psoriasis-related patient inquiries.

1 Introduction Dermatophyte infections are among the most common superficial mycoses worldwide, affecting an estimated 20%–25% of the population [1]. Among the etiologic agents, Trichophyton rubrum is the leading pathogen and causes a spectrum of manifestations, including tinea pedis, onychomycosis, tinea corporis and tinea cruris [2].
EPHX2 Orchestrates Intestinal Epithelial Barrier Repair in Ulcerative Colitis: An Integrated Multi-Omics and Experimental Study
1 Introduction Ulcerative colitis (UC), a chronic inflammatory bowel disease characterized by alternating recurrence and remission with the lesion site typically involving the rectum and colon [1-3], is up to 5 million [4]. The clinical symptoms of ulcerative colitis are hematochezia, abdominal pain, lethargy, and more [5], which can significantly impact patients' quality of life and even lead to cancer.

Nigral volume loss in prodromal, early, and moderate Parkinson’s disease - npj Parkinson's Disease
Abstract The loss of melanized neurons in the substantia nigra pars compacta (SNc) is a hallmark pathology in Parkinson’s disease (PD). Melanized neurons in SNc can be visualized in vivo using magnetization transfer (MT) effects.
IRWT-YOLO: A Background Subtraction-Based Method for Anti-Drone Detection
1. Introduction Infrared object detection has become a significant research topic in recent years due to its wide range of applications in military surveillance, maritime rescue, and fire monitoring [1,2,3,4,5,6]. Infrared sensors offer robust performance under varying illumination conditions, capturing the outlines of objects emitting thermal radiation even in dark or low-light environments, which provides considerable advantages over visible-light imaging.
Implantable Ultrasound‐Powered MXene/PVA Hydrogel‐Based Generator for Treatment of Glioblastoma
1 Introduction Glioblastoma (GBM) is one of the most aggressive cancers that originate in the brain.[1] Despite significant developments, the poor prognosis of GBM remains a serious clinical issue.[2-4] Due to the pronounced infiltrative growth of GBMs, a cure through complete resection of the tumor is unfortunately not possible.[5, 6] Systemic and locoregional treatments have traditionally been used and tested to improve prognosis.[7-9] The average survival time is ≈15 months with...
Dual-Strategy of Carbon-Coating and Nanoengineering Enables Reversible and Durable Na Storage in an Iron-Based Pyrophosphate Cathode
Dual-Strategy of Carbon-Coating and Nanoengineering Enables Reversible and Durable Na Storage in an Iron-Based Pyrophosphate Cathode Iron-based polyanionic compounds exhibit promising potential as commercial cathode materials for sodium-ion batteries (SIBs) due to their abundant resources, low cost, environmental friendliness, and reliability. However, they still encounter challenges such as limited energy density, inadequate ionic/electronic conductivity, and sluggish Na+ diffusion kinetics.
Online detection technology of triangular-blade tool grinding precision based on machine vision
To address the problems of repeat positioning accuracy and secondary clamping caused by a triangular-blade tool during grinding, this paper proposes an online detection method for the machining accuracy of the triangular-blade tool based on machine vision. The method utilizes a weighted average approach for grayscale processing of the original image and an adaptive median filtering algorithm for filtering and noise reduction. The processed image is then binarized.
Design, Synthesis, and Evaluation of p53Y220C Acetylation Targeting Chimeras (AceTACs)
Introduction Click to copy section linkSection link copied! The transcription factor p53, a well-known tumor suppressor, plays a key role in the regulation of cellular processes, including cell cycle, DNA repair, apoptosis, and epigenetic control of gene expression. (1−3) In about 50% of all human cancers, p53 is functionally abolished or altered via mutation.

Performance Degradation Modeling and Continuous Worktime Assessment of Ultrasonic Vibration Systems
1. Introduction With the continuous development of industrial technology, ultrasonic processing technology has been widely applied in material processing due to its advantages of a low cutting force, high processing efficiency, and environmental friendliness [1]. In the process of ultrasonic cutting, it is essential for the ultrasonic vibration system to work continuously, without faults, and stably to ensure the quality of the processing.

Acetylation Targeting Chimera Enables Acetylation of the Tumor Suppressor p53
With advances in chemically induced proximity technologies, heterobifunctional modalities such as proteolysis targeting chimeras (PROTACs) have been successfully advanced to clinics for treating cancer. However, pharmacologic activation of tumor-suppressor proteins for cancer treatment remains a major challenge. Here, we present a novel Acetylation Targeting Chimera (AceTAC) strategy to acetylate the p53 tumor suppressor protein.

Micromachines | Free Full-Text | Investigation of Material Removal Distributions and Surface Morphology Evolution in Non-Contact Ultrasonic Abrasive Machining (NUAM) of BK7 Optical Glasses
Abstract : A non-contact ultrasonic abrasive machining approach provides a potential solution to overcome the challenges of machining efficiency in the high-precision polishing of optical components. Accurately modeling the material removal distribution (removal function (RF)) and surface morphology is very important in establishing this new computer-controlled deterministic polishing technique.

Dentate nucleus iron deposition is a potential biomarker for tremor-dominant Parkinson's disease
Parkinson's disease (PD) is a heterogeneous neurodegenerative disorder with variable clinicopathologic phenotypes and underlying neuropathologic mechanisms. Each clinical phenotype has a unique set of motor symptoms. Tremor is the most frequent initial motor symptom of PD and is the most difficult symptom to treat. The dentate nucleus (DN) is a deep iron-rich nucleus in the cerebellum and may be involved in PD tremor.
