Prediction of the binding modes between key differential flavor compounds in tobacco leaves at different maturity stages and the olfactory receptor OR1D2
Abstract Introduction: Leaf maturity is a critical determinant of the sensory quality of tobacco. To elucidate the microstructural characteristics of Yunyan 87 tobacco at distinct maturity stages and the perception mechanisms of key differential flavor compounds mediated by the olfactory receptor OR1D2.
Mineralized DNA tetrahedron-structured hydrogels: a dual-functional Scaffold for immunomodulation and bone regeneration
Abstract Clinical limitations of autografts and allografts have driven advances in bone tissue engineering. Emerging biomaterials offer tunable mechanical and bio-regenerative properties for bone reconstruction. DNA hydrogels have attracted increasing attention due to their extracellular matrix–like architecture and excellent cargo-loading capacity. However, their rapid degradation and limited immunomodulatory activity have hindered their long-term efficacy in bone regeneration.
Minimizing strain for ultra-stable tin perovskite LEDs
Abstract Strain in crystalline materials refers to the deviation of lattice sites from their ideal equilibrium positions. In crystalline semiconductors, the reliable management of strain is vital for simultaneously achieving high electronic quality and structural robustness. For metal halide perovskites, the complexity of material composition and crystallization dynamics introduces substantial challenges in strain engineering, hampering the long-term stability of perovskite devices.
The Sirt2–Nur77 axis regulates muscle stem cell quiescence and senescence via epigenetic–metabolic synergy
Abstract Nur77 expression decreases with age in multiple organs, including the liver, brain, heart, and kidney, whereas Sirt2 increases with age in the mouse cerebral cortex and hippocampus. We identified the central role of the Sirt2-P300/Nur77/K310 acetylation axis in regulating muscle homeostasis and regeneration and its age-related alterations.

FgNdk1 Promotes Effector Secretion to Scavenge ROS During Fusarium graminearum Infection
1 Introduction Fusarium graminearum is a devastating soil-borne fungal pathogen that threatens the production of wheat, barley and maize worldwide, causing Fusarium head blight in wheat and barley and Gibberella stalk rot in maize, which result in huge economic losses (Walter et al. 2010). Similar to other plant fungal pathogens, F. graminearum secretes effectors to facilitate successful invasion.

Continuous-wave perovskite polariton lasers
Abstract Solution-processed semiconductor lasers are next-generation light sources for large-scale, bio-compatible and integrated photonics. However, overcoming their performance-cost trade-off to rival III-V laser functionalities is a long-standing challenge. Here, we demonstrate room-temperature continuous-wave perovskite polariton lasers exhibiting remarkably low thresholds of ~0.4 W cm−2, enabled by a variable single-crystal perovskite microcavity.

Prediction of tumor origin in cancers of unknown primary origin with cytology-based deep learning - Nature Medicine
Abstract Cancer of unknown primary (CUP) site poses diagnostic challenges due to its elusive nature. Many cases of CUP manifest as pleural and peritoneal serous effusions. Leveraging cytological images from 57,220 cases at four tertiary hospitals, we developed a deep-learning method for tumor origin differentiation using cytological histology (TORCH) that can identify malignancy and predict tumor origin in both hydrothorax and ascites.
The Influence on the Change of China’s Partial Design Patents | Article | Chambers and Partners
Introduction In the fourth amendment of China’s Patent Law, partial design patent is included to comply with the international trend and reinforce the protection on a certain part of the innovative design. Recently, with the amendment and enforcement of the Detailed Rules for the Implementation of the Patent Law and the Guidelines for Patent Examination, partial designs have started to be granted one after another, including three for which the author acts as the agent.
The EGF/EGFR-YAP1/TEAD2 axis-mediated BRAF inhibitor vemurafenib resistance upregulates STIM1 in melanoma
Abstract STIM1 is the endoplasmic reticulum (ER) Ca2+ sensor for store-operated entry (SOCE) and closely correlated to carcinogenesis and tumor progression. Previously we found that STIM1 is upregulated in melanoma cells resistant to the BRAF inhibitor vemurafenib, but the regulation mechanism is unknown. Here, we show that vemurafenib resistance upregulates STIM1 through an EGF/EGFR-YAP1/TEAD2 axis.

A New Method for Crop Type Mapping at the Regional Scale Using Multi-Source and Multi-Temporal Sentinel Imagery
1. Introduction Food security is the basis for a healthy life. However, since 2014, the number of hungry people in the world has been increasing [1]. Climate change and extreme events are important drivers of increases in global hunger, as they directly hinder crop production [1,2,3]. In addition, rapid population growth, and complex and changing international relations can also affect food security [4,5]. To address these challenges, we need to take effective measures to ensure food security.
