Shared-Output Aptamer-Gated DNA Nanodevices Program NbaSPARDA Trans-Cleavage for Metabolite and Drug Sensing
1 Introduction Aptamers are in vitro-selected, single-stranded nucleic-acid receptors that combine molecular recognition with sequence programmability and can therefore be integrated into diverse biosensing architectures [1, 2]. This programmability is particularly useful for metabolites and small-molecule drugs, which lack intrinsic nucleic-acid sequences and therefore require a molecular interface to enter sequence-programmable readout pathways [3, 4].

Influence mechanism of differences in hydrocarbon generation intensity of deep coalbed methane: a case study of the Daning-Jixian block
Abstract The deeply buried Upper Paleozoic coal seams in the Ordos Basin are regarded as the principal source rocks for natural gas accumulation. Accurately quantifying their hydrocarbon generation capacity and exploring the influencing mechanism of the difference in hydrocarbon generation intensity are crucial for natural gas resource evaluation.
Singing Enhances Poetry Learning and Memorization in Preschool Children
1 Introduction Language is fundamental to social life and undergoes rapid development during early childhood. By the preschool age (4–6 years), children typically acquire phonemic awareness and begin to master increasingly complex word-level communication and paralinguistic skills [1-4]. Poetry, which embeds linguistic structure within culturally meaningful rhythmic and aesthetic forms, provides a valuable scaffold for supporting sophisticated language use aligned with sociocultural norms [5].
Realization of the Bienenstock-Cooper-Munro rule in a single memristor
Abstract Neuromorphic computing aims to build electronic systems that mimic the brain’s remarkable efficiency and adaptability. A key feature of brain is homeostatic plasticity, which stabilizes neural activity; the Bienenstock–Cooper–Munro (BCM) rule accurately describes this by adjusting a neuron’s sensitivity threshold based on past activity. However, implementing the homeostatic rule in synaptic device remains challenging.

Annealing of skyrmion lattice in van der Waals magnet via field modulation
Abstract In atomic solids, annealing transforms disordered structures into ordered crystals through thermal activation, whereas realizing a comparable process in quasiparticle lattices is highly desirable. Magnetic skyrmions are topological spin textures that can form ordered lattice and undergo equilibrium phase transitions, yet thermal activation is insufficient to overcome their kinetic constraints or provide tunable control.

Mechanistic study of TIMM44 mediating gastric carcinogenesis via the Gαi1-PI3K-AKT-mTOR signaling pathway
Abstract Hyperglycemic conditions up - regulate TIMM44, an inner mitochondrial membrane protein. Its expression is related to many cancers, yet its role in gastric cancer (GC) remains unproven. To study this, we used western blot and qRT - PCR to measure protein and mRNA levels. Flow cytometry analyzed cell cycle progression. CCK − 8, colony formation, wound healing, Transwell, and EdU assays evaluated cell viability, migratory and invasion abilities.

Case Report: Integrating clinical presentation and genetic analysis in P450 oxidoreductase deficiency: a novel mutation and systematic review
Abstract Background: Cytochrome P450 oxidoreductase deficiency (PORD) is an ultra-rare autosomal recessive disorder caused by mutations in the POR gene and characterized by highly heterogeneous skeletal, genital, and endocrine manifestations. Owing to this complexity, PORD remains frequently underrecognized in clinical practice, and integrated clinical–genetic syntheses remain limited.
Spontaneous emergence of Dzyaloshinskii-Moriya interaction via field-cooling-induced interface engineering in 2D ferromagnetic ternary tellurides
Abstract Room-temperature skyrmions in the two-dimensional (2D) van der Waals (vdW) ferromagnet Fe3GaTe2 (FGaT) hold great promise for spintronics. However, the origin of the necessary Dzyaloshinskii-Moriya interaction (DMI) within its centrosymmetric lattice remains elusive. Here, we reveal a spontaneous DMI emergence mechanism driven by field cooling (FC) in FGaT and its analog Fe3GeTe2 (FGeT).
Room-temperature two-dimensional multiferroic metal with voltage-controllable magnetic order - Nature Materials
Abstract Realizing two-dimensional multiferroics with robust magnetoelectric coupling for electric-field-controlled magnetism at room temperature poses substantial challenges, as ferroelectricity and magnetism inherently conflict. Here we report air-stable bilayer CrTe2 that exhibits intrinsic room-temperature multiferroicity.

An integrated monolithic synaptic device for C-tactile afferent perception and robot emotional interaction
Human emotional interaction relies heavily on CT afferents—unmyelinated nerves in hairy skin that convert gentle tactile stimuli into affective states. For robots to engage in similar empathetic communication, existing tactile sensing technologies fall short: most rely on segregated "sensation-transmission-processing" modules, which cause latency accumulation and high energy consumption due to repeated analog-to-digital conversion.
All-electrical perpendicular switching of chiral antiferromagnetic order - Nature Materials
Abstract Antiferromagnets as active components in devices have been attracting attention due to their negligible stray field and ultrafast magnetic dynamics, which are promising for high-density and fast memory devices. Although the switching of antiferromagnetic (AFM) order by current-induced spin–orbit torque (SOT) has already been realized, field-free SOT-induced bidirectional switching of AFM order in perpendicular geometry has been elusive.

Eye blinks synchronize with musical beats during music listening
Abstract Auditory-motor synchronization, the alignment of body movements with rhythmic patterns in music, is a universal human behavior, yet its full scope remains incompletely understood. Through four experiments with 123 young non-musicians, integrating eye-tracking, neurophysiological recordings, white matter structural imaging, and behavioral analysis, we reveal a previously unrecognized form of synchronization: spontaneous eye blinks synchronize with musical beats.

Eyes robustly blink to musical beats like tapping
Abstract Auditory-motor synchronization with musical rhythm may extend beyond overt body movements like fingers or feet. Through four experiments combining eye-tracking, neurophysiological and structural imaging approaches with 123 young non-musicians, we demonstrated robust synchronization of spontaneous eye blinks with musical beats. The blinking rate consistently aligned with the beat rate across various tempi and independent of melodic cues.
Macroscale brain states support the control of semantic cognition - Communications Biology
Abstract A crucial aim in neuroscience is to understand how the human brain adapts to varying cognitive demands. This study investigates network reconfiguration during controlled semantic retrieval in differing contexts. We analyze brain responses to two semantic tasks of varying difficulty – global association and feature matching judgments – which are contrasted with non-semantic tasks on the cortical surface and within a whole-brain state space.
Visual Congruency Modulates Music Reward through Sensorimotor Integration
Abstract There is emerging evidence that a performer's body movements may enhance the music-induced pleasure of audiences. However, the neural mechanism underlying such modulation remains largely unexplored. This study utilized psychophysiological and electroencephalographic data collected from listeners as they watched and listened to manipulated vocal (Mandarin lyrics) and violin performances of Japanese and Chinese pop music. All participants were unfamiliar with the violin or Mandarin.
